Yes, the frame rate is better and you get more features such as neon lights, and stuff. Also if you transfer from old gen you can get extra stuff.

the first person view alone is worth getting it just as much. it looks more beautiful, runs way smoother than on last gen. a definite must-re-buy (what else is there to play really?)

Of course man, once you go Current gen you'll never look back plus being on the newer consoles, the game has longer lasting power.

I enjoyed playing the Single Player entirely in FPV. The music is cool too. For me it was a no brainer getting the NG version with a PS4 bundle.

I bought the Xbox one just so I could play forza 5.. which, as it turned out, I did not like or play nearly as much as forza 4. The xbone sat collecting dust as I played GTA on 360.

 

Since current gen GTA came out, the 360 has been collecting dust. Current gen GTA justified the price of admission for the xbone

The fact that they are eventually going to stop supporting old gen; logic would say yes. In it's current incarnation however, I'd say wait until it comes down in price a bit.

For the price. Yes it was worth it. But if you have money burning a hole in your pocket. A PC would have been a better option Imo.

It's a no brainer, if you can afford it. If not, it's still awesome. I'm not going back to 360 after One, at least in GTA.

Framerate is better, picture is smooth, controls are more responsive. Go-to for stunters or pilots.

Yes its like a breath of fresh air and it looks very very nice, especially on ps4 but if you have a PC, present order it.

For SP yea it's amazing the detail and the over all feel of the game

but for online

Servers still suck

You still get dropped out of lobby's

You still get dropped out of missions

Once there is over 20 people there is still a massive lag spike

Till this gets fixed if online is your focus its not worth getting

 

The 360 severs are more stable then the Xbox one servers

OT. If you buy it on disk off ebay and you don't play it much or don't like it, you can always sell it again very easily. I made a profit on CodAW last month.

IMO absolutely, I bought a PS4 just to play GTA and only play online. 30 person deathmatches and freeroam lobbies were reason enough for me to upgrade from PS3. When you consider the amount of hours of entertainment you would get out of it, the investment is not all that much when you think about it.

Of course it's worth it, you could probably get it for 30 bucks or something online, plus all the new features and exclusive vehicles and things. The answer is a resounding YES!

this alone made it worth it. I did SP in free aim on 360, and assisted aim in first person makes it much harder, let alone FPV Free Aim. Definitely worth the purchase if you ask me.

For sure, the Radio Updates, Enhanced Visuals, New Vehicles and First-Person all make it so very worth the money.

 

Also, while it may be a placebo effect, the game feels as if it loads faster and even runs much smoother than last-gen.

 

While myself and many others may feel it's worth it, the choice is still in your hands, you're the one who has to decide if the perks are worth it or not.
