Are they are optimal ways for fast leveling?

I initially leveled up back in the early days and I guess "cheated" to my high rank by taking advantage of Rooftop Rumble glitch. Anyhow, starting up fresh on the PS4 so I can enjoy heists with a friend and just wondering if there is any optimal leveling methods out there to get my rank up fast? Also, I'm not fond of races yet would like to upgrade my cars, are you still able to invite a friend and win races by replaying that prison race over and over?

Yep, can still do that.

 

Also, just play missions. By taking your time, you can get 1/2, even close to 3K RP a mission anymore easy.

If you play those capture jobs where u pick up brief cases and kill waves of CPU players, you can level up quick

Relieved about the races and actually glad that I can just take my time. Abusing rooftop rumble meant I never really got to enjoy the leveling experience so I think I'll do just that. Thanks for the fast response.

I found a really good technique on a secret blog. The guy told me to do missions and, let me see if I can remember this bit, play the game.

Play Blow Up 2 and kill lots of cops (try to stay around 100 cop kills though or your game may glitch). I just ran through this mission to grab a screenshot for you. Not bad RP for around 10 minutes work LOL.

Contact missions on hard seems to get me up the ranks quickly.

If you have a friend with a tank, do a Simeon mission like Blow up or Gentry Does it, as mentioned before, and just blast cops with the tank for five minutes while your friend brings the cars back to Simeon's.
