Input Your Own Playlist To The Radio!

Recommended Posts

What do you guys think about the concept of inputting your own songs onto the in-game radio stations? On the radio wheel there would be a "Custom" option where it would play a list of tracks you have put on your character profile on social club for example. A maximum of say, 15 tracks in which you could roll around LS playing your tracks with your friends etc.

Sounds like a plan to me, your thoughts?

EDIT: GTA V Consoles and PC but you would input them onto your player via social club

That was in GTA IV and I believe earlier games on the PC versions. So it's likely that it might happen again in GTA V, not sure about Online

I'd quite like the ability to play my music library (which is on a uPNP NAS) back... More and more, I think I should've bought a PS4 instead of the half-finished Xbox One, which has less functionality than the 360 in several ways.

I have every GTA song ever on there. Starting with "Joyride" when I first load the game up :D

As mentioned above it was done on PC before. I wouldn't be surprised to see it on PC again.

This is where I have gotten the idea from, so it isn't really MY idea but the way of inputting your tracks onto the ingame radio stations is all mine :)

1- Sign-up to Social Club

2- Go onto your Profile

3- Upload 15 or less of your favourite tracks

4- Wait 10 minutes for it to be fully fuctional (like when updating your crew emblem)

5- Go onto GTA V/Online and enter YOUR Personal Vehicle

6- Play the Custom radio station for you and your friends to listen to when you're in your Personal Car

That's not gonna happen. They can't broadcast anything without appropriate rights.

The closest you'll get is having the mp3 files on your hard drive and it plays them from there, for you and you alone to hear.

Id love that option. Here's my 15 song tracklist:

1.- Jumping Jack Flash - The Rolling Stones.

2.- Strawberry Fields Forever - The Beatles.

3.- Station To Station - David Bowie.

4.- Halloween Parade - Lou Reed.

5.- Lithium - Nirvana.

6.- Singapore - Tom Waits.

7.- Rock 'n Roll - Led Zeppelin.

8.- Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes.

9.- Baba 'O Reilly - The Who.

10.- Little Queenie - The Rolling Stones.

11.- Promised Land - Elvis Presley.

12.- Breathless - Jerry Lee Lewis.

13.- Jenny Jenny - Little Richard.

14.- You Never Can Tell - Chuck Berry.

15.- Midnight Rambler - The Rolling Stones.

That's my Classic Rock Radio.

I turn down the in-gam music in audio settings and put my iPod on shuffle and plug into into the left stereo aux while leaving the game audio playing on the right channel.

I'd prefer custom tunes integrated into in game radio but if I have to listen to 'great big convoy' one more time I'm gonna flip my sh*t.

In Saints Row 4 you could create a custom playlist from all the in-game radio songs, but you couldnt add it from outside. Maybe in GTA it could be done with Spotify or something similiar?

I was a big fan of this feature in SR3 and 4. I would love to have it in GTAO

I remember a while before the game was released a friend of mine told me he'd heard there was going to be a live radio station as one of the channels in game. Never happened obviously but that would have been cool.

I wonder if the licensing would be more straightforward for that as the radio station would already be licensed to play every song they broadcast, I dunno.

If not then talk radio could work instead. Real life radio of any kind is probably impossible in GTA but I like the idea of it.

buy a flashdrive and save your music to it.
Put the flashdrive into your gaming system
Stream the music off your flashdrive
Profit.

They wont release a personalized radio station for consoles again as they got into some copywrite fiasco before

dnt that mess with the game sound tho

You know why this won't happen on consoles? Rockstar paid good money for 400 songs, and they want you to listen to them! No matter how sh*tty their songs are, they will make you listen!

Sorry, Rockstar, I didn't ask you to pay for all of these sh*tty songs. I only like about 20 or so, and they're never on because there are 400, so I just turn the damn thing off. So either way, you wasted your money, Rockstar.

Nope just turn down "music" and leave "SFX" up.
