Shooting in passive has to be patched ASAP!

This Passive glitched has to be patched I was in passive and some in passive shot and killed me and stole my money my normal banked money over 40,000 and another time I wasn't in passive but someone on a motorcycle in passive blew up my car with a sticky bomb this glitch is BS :angry:

The rockstar breaking glitch would be to get free shark cards then all hell will break loose, the first time people will see gta workers in their game be perma banning raping.

Op it is a glitch if they are shooting in passive, current gen console problems.

This is an appropriate place as any to point out that on new gen they've finally made it so your blip goes from the passive icon to a solid icon immediately when you disable passive mode, but you've still got 10 seconds of not being able to use weapons. This wasn't working till recently and it only changed the blip to the solid one after the 10 second countdown, which hurt the butts of lots of people.

 

It still shows you as non-passive when in any vehicle though.

I don't mind players having fun just don't bother me I don't kill players unless provoked I do my own thing I guess I'll stay in invite only session until tuesday 10th :( I'm a clean player I get 2000,00 just about everyday :cool:

A couple of days ago I was shot dead by a guy who was ghosting as if in passive. I couldn't hurt him. I got 4-5 headshots with no effect whatsoever.

 

He then went into another wallbreach. I followed and tried again, just to see if I had imagined it. Exactly the same thing happened.

 

PS4.

 

So there is absolutely a new god mode glitch on PS4.

Unlike most of the last gen glitches, I have yet to see this even once. Not saying it shouldn't be patched, but I have a hard time seeing the urgency when apparently almost no one is doing it.

If I see it today I'll make a video and post on youtube ok

Yeah, I'm not really expecting anything to come out of that conversation, thankfully. 99% of se7ensins is kids looking for hits on their Youtube channel. Again, thankfully.

When did they make that change? I didn't notice it the night before last when someone, yet again, tried to pull that "I'll stand here while my countdown goes away but nobody will know and I'll immediately be able to get the kill" crap to collect a bounty.

 

Frankly, they need to do away with passive mode entirely. Doing so would eliminate the way people have, time and again, found ways to use it to glitch god-mode. It is a pointless feature and, in my experience, is utilized not by people "trying to get away," but people trying to gain a tactical advantage while invincible. In the last week, I have taken notice of exactly two people who were in passive mode driving by minding their own business. Every other instance of passive mode has been someone popping in so they can get to better cover, higher ground, trying to figure out where I am, etc. Further, the fact someone can be in a purely offensive vehicle - Lazer, Buzzard, Rhino, etc. - and be in passive mode is a farce. I've seen people enter an area in a tank off the radar, start shooting and immediately enter passive the moment the first RPG or homing rocket makes contact with them, or someone chasing a bounty in a Buzzard, score the kill and immediately enter passive to flee so the re-spawned kill cannot get them with a homing launcher. That's all ridiculous.

are you on ps4????? i have literally seen at least 1 person in EACH lobby that are in passive mode with guns out..

 

i don't bother them and they haven't really bothered me except for one douche.

 

It is a VERY common glitch

 

and many people are doing it. I guess you must not be online in public lobbies enough ! Its everywhere !

 

And yes it needs to be fix ! I can do the glitch any time . but i just don't see the fun in it when there is absolutely no challenge. I think the people who can continuouldy do this and have fun must be a little brain dead. or just really slow.

yeah...it's more like an invulnerability timer from returning to the session....it lasts 10 seconds. Uber god mode that one is... it's a waste of time trying. Edited by TreFacTor

I've seen this a few times on Xbox One. They can die from explosives, including the Lazers jet cannons. I find the best way to handle these guys is 2 ways, beat the sh*t out of them with the Lazers cannons, or throw a sticky bomb on your friends back, make him go passive, then get them to run up on the guy and signal you to set off the sticky bomb, easy kill.
