How about a Pickup Truck class?

Recommended Posts

Right now we have some nice pickup trucks classed as Vans, and others classed as Utility. There's already a bunch of vehicles in those classes, so why not make a new class just for pickups? Rockstar can still keep the Sandking, and Rebel to Off-Road, and add some brand new trucks. Maybe give them something unique like hydraulics, or lift kits? Optional 4WD? You can go faster while in 2WD, but switch to 4WD for greater traction, but reduced speed. Just a thought. Of course, you may see a bunch of these roaming around LS then.

I would love to have those dodge and ford pickups added. But not those creations that the OP mentioned.

Beside modern trucks i wouldn't mind a ford ecoline to be added :)

It's not what you're after but, until they implement that, here's a video on how to further lower your suspension as well as do some other things for show:

(Intro NSFW by the way)

On Topic: On the one hand, I don't think we need more classes. But on the other hand, ones like offroad and utility are kind of a mess. So yeah why not!

Op might I ask why you went round photographing each of GiantsGiants RL cars?

As I mentioned in my post, knowing the GTA players, you'd prolly find some hideous looking trucks, thus why I did a search for some "giantsgiants" worthy pics. Obviously I'd much prefer the 70's, 80's and 90's Fords, Chevy, and Dodge pickups. And maybe a few Yota's too.

I actually like the last truck.

Anyways, yeah, I want a pickup truck class.

Those "things" don't deserved to be called trucks because they aren't, Low rider or some other category but they can't be called trucks

I've always though it was really stupid that the Bison, Bobcat and several other trucks are listed as "Vans" they should've lumped the Trucks and SUV into one category

I hope you posted those pictures as a joke... those are terrible.

Jesus christ, it's amazing how many people didnt read the OP. He never said he wanted those trucks.

Whats this reading you speak of? I thought it was look at the title, see some pictures, and post?

You just made me lol hard as f*ck.

It would be cool to have one class for pick up trucks, instead of having them scattered around in multiple classes like vans, utilities and muscle.

Oh my god yes, it's so annoying. But the way I see it Rockstar really can't class vehicles the correct way anyways.
