Open the browser, open the menu and go to Settings > Site settings > All sites > Find Twitter and click that then click the bin icon to delete associated data (including the cookie that tells it to use the browser version).

The menu? Do I have to go to twitter first?

No - the browser menu.

I'm sorry, I'm not smart at all when it comes to phones, how does one get to the browser menu, through one of the three buttons on the actual phone or the touch screen?

How did you set it to use desktop?

Erm... I don't have a clue what you mean, and chances are when moderators see this they will likely move it to Off-Topic

I know they will, I just wanted a few responses before it gets lost in the hell that is off topic

These kind of questions belong in the Network Support section and no it won't get lost as the moderators are in that section all the time there is also a Ask a Question thread in the General Chat section where people will also help.

Bud, I already have a whole lot of people helping me here, no offense to you, but I think I'm fine.

Keep it in mind for future threads like this so you can't say you didn't know where to ask.

That's not actually right for this question though. It should be in off-topic. The network support forum is for questions pertaining to this site and associated sites. Since this question is about Twitter it's off-topic.

Anyway, on your phone type the URL http://mobile.twitter.com- if that doesn't work do you have the actual instructions you used to make the change?

Hello?

Don't summon me. This isn't a paid support line. This is a forum about GTA and I'm offering to help out of the pure kindness of my heart.

As it is, I've run out of patience. I just switched my phone to use the desktop version, using a url as you described, and going to the address I gave in the last post it's now back to mobile.

That's how you fix it.

Have you got the "request desktop site" icon ticked in the drop-down options menu to the right of the URL bar?

If that and Furry_Monkey's advice don't work, delete all your cookies and offline content.
