1.16 is the update where they added hydra coding but they removed it for heists .

HEIST_AWARD_FOR_HIRE - Get hired/take part in a heist.
HEIST_AWARD_LIVE_A_LITTLE - Hmmm, not sure.
HEIST_AWARD_ASSHOLE - Maybe get a teammate killed during a setup mission?
HEIST_AWARD_CANT_TOUCH_THIS - Don't take any damage?
HEIST_AWARD_DECORATED - Not sure.
HEIST_AWARD_PSYCHO_KILLER - Kill like 75% of enemies in the heist.
HEIST_AWARD_ONE_MAN_ARMY - Be the last surviving heist member and succeed.
HEIST_AWARD_SHOT_CALLER - Maybe a sniper reward?
HEIST_AWARD_SHOWROOM - Not sure. Probably something to do with outfits.

Unlikely. The "get teammate killed" and "be last surviving" would promote teamkilling.

 

As for 'Decorated' it will probably be unlocked for having gold medals on all the heists.

Ooooo! I wonder if the heist awards will also be achievements/trophies?

 

While I'd like it, I don't think so. I think they'll be those in-game achievements. It is entirely possible to add new trophies via dlc so it is possible.. Hope so.

Live a little could be financing a heist perhaps?

 

Shot caller is probably being heist leader.

In the IGN interview it was mentioned that there would be bonus rewards for completing the heists under certain parameters. Could some of these be those? Like One Man Army or Live A Little being the one for NG players completing them in first-person? Not sure what would be for completing all the heists with the same group of people. Also, are these 100% heists, or could they be for the new versus modes too? Yes, it says "heist award," but couldn't that just be the update they come with, and not necessarily the mode played to get them?

 

If I had to guess, Asshole is probably the leader taking 100% of the final cut, For Hire might be be a non-leader member of X many heists, Shot Caller being the leader for X many heists, and Death Defying probably being bringing a player back to life.

Judging by what heists are likely to involve, how about things like 'complete all heists' ('showroom'), 'complete a heist as Heist Leader' ('shot caller'), 'complete a heist as a team member' ('for hire'), 'make it through without losing a team member' (can't touch this'), 'revive a team member to complete the heist with all four players' ('death defying'), etc.

For 'Asshole', I suspect it might be 'complete a heist without reviving a downed team member' - i.e., if one of the team fumbles and gets taken out, and the others don't use Jeff's 'revive' ability to complete the job with a full team, but instead leave them behind. ;)

So you get a shirt that identifies you as the criminal who robbed a location, sounds about as good an idea as wearing masks only sold at one location to commit these heists.

Just went through the IGN interview (http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/12/16/grand-theft-auto-5-online-heists-finally-revealed), and found this relevant bit:

 

"We have several rewards for players as well, such as for playing all five heists in order with the same set of players and another bonus for playing all of them in first-person [mode] on PS4, Xbox One, or PC, as well as Elite Bonus Challenges, which are essentially a big cash reward if you complete each part of a heist while meeting certain criteria, such as time to complete, damage taken, accuracy etc."

 

Thoughts? Anyone got any guesses as to which of those criteria fit the awards (particularly the 'do all of them in first-person mode' one)?

 

 

[EDIT] Aargh - forgot to read JSwartz0181's earlier post, which covers much the same thing. Dammit!

I believe "HEIST_AWARD_DECORATED" is obtained by completing all heists with top performance, the asshole award is I believe definitely for taking all the money although that seems wrong of R* to promote such a thing.

 

If it is, either help crew members to earn it, and vice versa. Of if they don't get clued in before the heist is over, just hire randoms for a heist and hope they enjoy the RP.

I like the way you think, I too would gladly give randoms especially squeakers who don't do their part in the heist a 5% cut, I get to be a jackass and receive an award? Deal!

So by this time (2 months after heists released) I think we have all gotten our t-shirts, or at least made good progress. However, there is still some mystery where the 'asshole' & 'live a little' t-shirts are concerned. You can check your stats in-game to monitor your progress towards these shirts (stats > awards > rewards), but there is no mention of these two t-shirts.

 

Now to further complicate things:

 

I was in the middle of losing a Capture-Hold when I received a notification that I'd unlocked the 'live a little t-shirt' (which is also a trophy, but one that I'd unlocked several weeks previously). I checked the clothing store and my wardrobe extensively, but could find no trace of it. It isn't officially listed with the other t-shirts in the stats menu, which leads me to believe it is leftover code from a shirt they decided not to include.

 

So, I opened a support ticket and haven't heard from R* in more than two weeks. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I'm on PS3
