What makes a good GTA Youtuber to you?

Recommended Posts

So every single GTA YouTube channel virtually sucks, they rip info off the forum and post it as their own, half of them aren't even GTA Fans. They make money off rockstar titles and even go as far as speculate GTA 6 and copy map creations.

No channel survives without posting some fake money method spamming images of sports cars saying $999999 on it.

Essentially this is awful, this community is for children, no doubt.

If there was a GTA YouTuber who did no money glitch videos and never begged for likes or subscribers, would you subscribe? More so if they only uploaded on relevant topics? Or helpful videos

Thanks for the replies. Its a shame recording devices are so openly accesible nowadays and that people on YouTube can get away with things like that. Its a shame someone that sounds 15 who never played any of the ps2/ps1 GTA games can obtain an audience and gain success

Xperttheif? LuiCalibre? Just people actually enjoying and playing the game, and not spending all their time speculating bullsh*t?

The greatest would have to be GTAseriesvideos, they have been in the gta youtube game forever and our by far the greatest for information, not all these frauds.

Dick Grayson

GTA Series Videos, I believe, is one of the top channels for GTA content.

^^^This x1000, they have walkthroughs for most if not all GTA games, easter egg videos, scene renenactments, and a lot more.

Vanoss and the gang, also got me watching their videos of other games. The only mention of likes is in a pisstake way

Vanoss and the gang only entertain you when DomisLive and the stooges inform you :colgate:

There isnt a single decent info gta youtuber besides gta series videos, the rest are full of sh*t 90% of the time, unless its obvious.

Not being on YT in the first place, it's basically ALL been done before.

as long there is content, there is stuff to do

seriously it seems like people are to much concentrating on the famous assholes that cover gtao

there are realy loads of gamers that just do it for fun...hell they dont even ask for likes all the times

seriously they go to the game and do the stuff and be honest about it....like for an example the many many people that do walktroughs and sh*t like that....the ones i watched....whenever they had played the game before, they actualy told, they listened to the feedback of the people watching their sh*t and answered to messages in the goddamn comment sections almost everytime if the question was directed to them.

hell, i know one example that kept his mouth shut after quite some comments of people that found his voice anoying :p

also there are guides on online games to made by several people....though i must admit its getting rarer and rarer to find youtubers that act like the people dont know how to subscribe and beg for such things like hungry people, they actualy still exist even 2015 :)

Sussus Amongus

Someone who makes vids atleast once a week, knows a lot about the game and GTA franchise and how it all works and the lore, knows how to use the cture creator and other creators to their advantage and makes epic missios, knows how to fly planes in GTA and plays diffrent gamemodes and knows every corner of the map and is creative.

Also someone who plays the game how it's meant to be played. Id on't watch any GTA youtubers because they all suck at the game and don't know sh*t about the lore. Including Xpert. That guy is such an idiot. His first vids when he did TBoGT Thug life were the only good ones. GTASeriesVideos is a meh.

Pretty much a copy of me.

there are no good "GTA YouTubers" but any good gaming YTer is all about the fun and/or gameplay. only time i do not hate the "give it a like" phrase is when they are asking for likes to know if you like the series or not, so they know whether or not they should keep the series going.

I suppose so, I'm just saying in my case I feel like it's all been done before.. there is only SO many times you can speculate, assume and insitgate. I stay away from YT unless I'm uploading my own skateboarding clips since it's a passion of mine but I cannot stand when you just want to watch a video only to get barraged by dupstep, epilepsy flashes and "DONT FORGET TO FINGER f*ck THAT SUBSCRIBE BUTTON WOOOOOOOOO" BS, there's a difference between trying to get yourself out there and basically shoving your words down someone's throat!

Putting time and effort into a video that's worth watching in its own right is a good start - i.e., stuff where a video serves an actual purpose.

For instance: Broughy1332's car fact-finding series, GreyLeafGamer's strategy guides and GTASeriesVideos update overviews - there's a point to watching them, the info is best presented in video form, it's all 'bespoke' footage captured specifically for the video, and best of all, there isn't a minute's worth of begging for kids to 'like and subscribe'...

...which describes the other end of the spectrum (and the majority of GTAO 'YouTubers', sadly) - even with the ones who aren't posting endless money glitches are just pouncing on every bit of semi-news, unsubstantiated rumour and leaked info (often without source credit), and slapping it over a couple of minutes of generic unrelated gameplay footage to justify it being a 'video' - and all to say they 'put out daily GTA videos' and pump up their like/subscription numbers. Most of it's old news anyway (which makes it worthless watching the video - I get more up-to-date stuff simply trawling these boards), but they've got a seeming pathological need to have 'their' take on everything, and often even pass it off like they've got the 'scoop' on it.

As for 'Let's Plays' and livestreams, ...eh, if the host/presenter is entertaining/not a pain in the ass, or they're doing something creative beyond just playing the game in a bog-standard way, then maybe it's worth a look - otherwise I'm just watching someone else play the game, when I could be having more fun actually playing it myself...

This. They don't talk in walkthroughs unlike most people now a days. I'm here to find out how to Gold Medal this, not listen to you jab away all day.

Pretty much if it's a video of people talking and playing it's a sh*t video
