I was doing work on a school laptop which had my GTAForums account signed in. A staff member of my school took the laptop because I didn't go on this stupid field trip. Now I can't finish my school work and it still has my GTAForums account logged on that laptop. Can a moderador please sign my account out of that laptop? I don't want someone at my school using my account. Please.

:(

You should've either just asked this in network support, or changed your password for the time being.

Won't changing my GTAForums account password still leave the account signed in, though? Edited by LightningLord411

I'm very sure. That's what the "Stay signed in" option is for, to prevent yourself from logging out when the browser is closed and at shutdown. Since you did not use that feature, you're not logged in anymore, dude.

Also no, Once you've changed your password they would have to reenter it on their side in order to do anything with your account.

The same way if you had saved your password for a website on your phone but changed it on your PC when you try and log in again with your phone you'd have to reenter your password before being allowed back on.

We can't log you out of your account so be smarter about where you log in.

Actually we can, but if the user already change the password, should be enough for the other browser to lost the session.

You might be able to as an admin but us lowly mods can't.

The Deadite

A good thing to do next time, log in a incognito window, just to be safe.
