The Future of Gta Online & Other

Features. (Under Construction)

Whats up people, this thread is about the future of gta online, and some

additional features using actual proof from files, and a few quotes from Leslie

The Benz, and Imran Sarwar . Light speculation is acceptable, I speculate a bit

myself but the main point of this thread is to have a better idea of what to

expect from rockstar, and to have a easier way to know whats been found, and

what hasn't. I tried to structure this in a way where proof, logic, and

speculation can agree together instead of having 50 different post with the

same question/concern. Also there will be a brief section with a list of recent

leaks that will change a lot. This post/thread will become VERY long. I plan on

adding info, and updating this regularly. If you are interested, have any

suggestions, concerns, or links please feel free to leave a comment. I apologize

ahead of time, because I know this is a lot to read, I used numbers to help,

but it was still so much to cover.

1. Heists

My Complete Opinion

Not surprised at all that Heists are dropping March 10th. But lets

talk more about some special things when it comes to heists.

-Why Heists Are So Important

Gta wise I feel heists are a huge chunk of the future of gta online, and gta

period. It opens up the dry mission structure, gives extra choices n can

possibly make the same mission different every time. Rockstar has been obsessed

with freedom, and choice within the whole heist concept. Single player

dynamic heists were great for a first attempt, but werent completely unique.

With online they have to chance to not only bring online players together, but

a chance to further perfect the mechanics of heists *multiple delays* . Even

though we all were extremely irritated at how long we had to wait, Imran Sarwar

of Rockstar admitted that heists were way more challenging than they expected. *quotes

below* Not only that, but they wanted to put emphasis on EVERY player having a

constant role in the heists which will definitely stretch out mission structure.

Obviously their original heist idea from Q4 of 2013 wasnt strong enough to

bump gta online, but now theyre confident enough to move the series forward. I

also believe that when single player side jobs come back they'll share a

"few" similar mechanics found in heists. Gta 5 had 3 main characters

for a reason, and I believe future games will continue that. Schedule wise I

feel that the release of heists will put the programmers, and designers attention

on other things weve been asking for. Even before online started there were

many plans for gta online, but heist was always the main attraction. Now that

were closer to release, I feel that Rockstar can get back on schedule with

feedback, and updates.

-Will There Be More Heists?

Were definitely getting more

heists, may be a while but I think after feedback, bug fixes, and patches we

should definitely get more.

-Interview Quotes:

Imran Sarwar, Ign Interview

IGN: The big question, of course, is why has it taken so long for Heists to come

together?

IMRAN: To be honest, they just turned out to be a lot more

difficult than we originally thought. Our initial idea was to build on the

concept of Story Mode heists to make a new gameplay experience for GTA Online

that was more focused on cooperation, where everyone could play to their

individual strengths and feel like they had a stake in the outcome.

"So we started working on the concept: a series of

multi-tiered missions featuring diverse prep work, a range of different types

of gameplay and a big finale, where team coordination and playing your own

distinct role could make the difference between success or failure. We also

wanted each one to have a unique thread that brought you back in touch with

some of the characters from the story."

"A good example is the classic idea of your getaway driver, waiting

outside of a bank for the big score. A movie might not spend too much time

focusing on that person because while they are waiting, we are watching the

action going down in the vault. In a similar situation in Story Mode, we could

use a character switch to make sure the player was always in the center of the

action and switch back to the driver later. But to make this work for multiple

players, we needed to create situations where the driver has something

interesting to do at exactly the same time the rest of their team are locking

down the bank and making their way to the money.

After many months of designing, testing, rewriting and re-testing, we settled

on the four-player structure that you will experience in the game. It took a

ton of work from our programmers and mission designers to make it work at the

level we were happy with."

" Unlike the leader, other crew members get a cash payout for each prep

mission, while the leader wont receive their cash until the finale is

complete. Switching between the roles of crew member and heist leader will give

players a totally different experience, and we had to make sure there were real

incentives to playing each position so that players would see every aspect of

how a heist comes together and not just want to stick to the same role each

time.

Some missions have all players working as one unit, some require players to

take on specific tasks like hacking or crowd control, while others require

players to split into smaller teams to complete separate high value objectives.

For example, one team may be stealing a getaway car from some gangsters while

another team is attempting to sneak into a police station, all within the same

prep mission. We really want to push the co-op aspect and make players feel

like they need to communicate effectively and work together to pull off each

element."

"Each finale is a big set-piece mission with players taking on multiple

roles."

"Prep and set-up missions in Story Mode could be relatively low-key

affairs, but with four players and an emphasis on replayability we felt like we

needed to make these as diverse and as fun as possible."

"We have also tried to add player choice wherever possible, from the

clothing to the tactics involved and so on."

"There are five unique strands involving over 20 total missions, which

will add up to around 20 hours of gameplay. We hope players will then replay

them multiple times to take on the other roles and to try different ways of

tackling the missions. Weve tried to add a lot of variety and theres a

mixture of open-ended gameplay, big set-pieces and a few surprises too."

(These quotes from the IGN interview shows how much effort Rockstar has put into making online heists a fresh, and replayable experience. This is way I believe Rockstar is pushing heist so hard. To get people use to this new mode that is basically missions on steriods. I believe the structure of heists will be heavily used in the next Gta)

2. Mission Creator

My Complete Opinion

If it will, mid, or 3rd quarter 2015 but mission creator

may be the last thing major feature that will ever drop. If it do please

believe that Rockstar will hold it on pedestal, and incorporate it into the

"online experience" like heists, and may even announce and delay it.

But mission creator can be a way to "Write your own story in the streets

of Los Santos by doing jobs for friends & strangers, or offer jobs to

fellow criminals for a fee." Drop it as a dlc:

Update 1.45.4

Patch notes:

Fixed issue where vehicles "speed up" across your car while your doing

100 mph.

Fixed issue where oncoming traffic slides the side of their car into your

bumper when your being chase by violent gang members.

Fixed issue where police spawn out of thin air with pin point accuracy.

Fixed issue where cops don't die during heists.

Fixed issue where Lester takes 90% of heist profits.

etc.

etc.

They release this, then filter the s**t out of created content. Give players about

a month to create, and test missions, verify a few, then make a new contact in everyones

phone that offers the verified jobs, or something like that. Also created missions

will give players something fresh to do in between heists, n will keep the

community active. And for those that feel mission creator would hurt future releases

of gta, I only see it helping, and keep players invested. I believe that now Rockstar

has evolved the old mission structure into heist to reinvent the series, and to

offer just more than go here, shoot him, lose cops. Our created missions would

be entertaining but nothing we'd make would probably come close to heist

structure, or presentation. Maybe after heists drop, they'll work on this but

who knows for sure, I'll keep holding my breath. *Sarcasm*

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+If they honestly want gta online to last forever, creating our own missions, and modes would do exactly that with little effort.

+It would challenge other games, and genres.

+The mission structure is a little dated, and they know it,

+Also they could save money buy dropping this along with updates, and patches, allowing the community to create thier own content, while they focus on heavy content to release.

-Why Rockstar Would Wait:

Main reason heists. A multimillion dollar

company would never release a tool, that gave consumers an opportunity to make

a better idea than their own. Which is why they spent soooo much time on heist.

They planned on releasing a mission creator for a while *check quotes below*

but not before heist, and maybe a few other features. Also they had to balance

mission payouts, patch glitches/exploits, patch/update the content creator, and

stabilize the economy. Not happy its delayed, but from a business standpoint I

understand. *Still not happy*

-Quotes About Mission Creator

The Benz, Game Pur

"For certain heists you might need certain weapons, vehicles or characters

such as a sniper or a driver. This will also depend on the mission creator if

you download the mission from the Social Club."

The Benz, Computerandgames

" Initially, you'll be able to create races and deathmatches, which are

probably the simplest. And then, over time, when we feel comfortable that

people are ready to get the new creators, they will be released. So it'll be a

trickle, but it'll be a constant release of new creators and new content. We

don't want to overdo it. It's a complex system. That's another reason for the

two week delay between single-player and Online. We want to give people an

opportunity to actually get their heads around what's happened, because even

single-player is a big advancement from the old games. There's a lot of new

things to learn."

The Benz, Nowgamer Interview

"Speaking about the creation aspect of GTA Online, The Benz also revealed

that Rockstar is starting only with deathmatches and races to keep the

complexity down.

"The Benz claims that Rockstar wants the learning process to be gradual, to

better introduce the creation tools and enable more complex things perhaps

like your own missions later on down the line."

The Benz, Idigitaltimes/3DJuegos

"3DJ: Is it possible to create our own missions and share them?

L. B. We started with the opportunity to create your own races and deathmatch

games. From there, we evolved to offer a huge amount of possibilities. We want

people to start, however, making things less complex, so that learning is

gradual. We can start by creating both a career, something that is achieved

getting into a car and pressing a button to set the start and end points. Then

you can also send the event to the Rockstar Social Club server so it is

available for anyone who wants to play. All this can be done in a minute, is

very simple. Our intention is to introduce this idea of users generate their

own content. We start with simple things. In the future, we make plans related

to believe whatever they want.

3DJ: Like a mission with different objectives?

L. B. Anything."

3. Side Missions/jobs (Vigilante, Fire fighter, Car Export, Ambulance, Street Racing, Original Taxi Missions)

My Complete Opinion

I see them coming as single/multiplayer dlc, with possibilities of

expanding the story. I believe rockstar took them away with plans of bringing

them back with deeper mechanics, opportunities to extend game life, n MAYBE a

possible fee. I believe this because a lot of fans miss these features, n sometimes

would spend hours on side missions alone. Rockstar knows this but with gta v they

felt the need to make the game more believable within the main characters

personality.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+Community wants it bad, and may be willing to pay for it, if its decent.

+Also it would extend the game, and offer a chance to reinvent gta side missions.

+This is part of what the series is popular for.

-Proof: Currently speculation

4. More Missions

My Complete Opinion

After Heists releases, I believe a few missions will come

with it, to mix things up between heists. But I think that after a year they

haven't released more because they planned on dropping heist, and a mission

creator. But seriously as fun as gta online is right now, this game needs more

missions bad.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+Keep things fresh, introduce new characters.

+Keep us entertained between heists.

+Give us more ideas for mission creator.

+You can only judge the jury so many times.

-Proof: Currently speculation

5. Single Player DLC

My Complete Opinion

After Gta Online is stabilized, n wont require as much

attention, and maintenance, I see them dropping single player dlc maybe 3rd/4th

Quarter 2015.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+After you beat single player gta in 2015 theres STILL nothing to do. *yep. I said it.

+This world is massive, and took many years, and millions of dollars to create. They have plans my friend.

-Proof: Single player Dlc article http://gamerant.com/grand-theft-auto-5-single-player-dlc-story

6. Vehicles

My Complete Opinion

Will continue to release wit Heists, then to keep players

spending money, and racing more'll drop maybe every 2 months for a while until

they decide we got enough to last. Rockstar knows how much we love real life

cars, and gta cars. We have a never ending wish list, and they have gta online,

cash cards, n tons of car models from past games.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+Game is called grand theft auto

+We spend most of our time in cars, and spend most of our money on cars

+Plenty of requests

7. Weapons

My Complete Opinion

At this rate new weapons will always come out. I think a lot of

our favorites will make a return, and a handful of new weapons. We always want

them, and now rockstar is n a position to drop them in the game whenever they

want.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+to keep this game lasting, we'll need more variety since most of our activities involve shooting people.

+plenty of requests.

8. Job Filter

My Complete Opinion

Its definitely coming, theres way too many jobs to sort

through to find exactly what you want. Also, there are a few gems out there

that are definitely fun to play, and watch. Also this would greatly help with

the expansion of the content creator.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+There's literally millions..of jobs..

+Will help players find the kind of jobs they want more often, which will keep them playing, and creating.

-Proof: Currently speculation

9. Interiors

My Complete Opinion

This game is f**king huge. However they're aren't many interiors

available for free roamers which suck. I believe that maybe the modding

community will play around on pc n make some things happen but I dont see

rockstar adding more interiors just for the sake of it. Although it would be

appreciated.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+To add variety to online where criminals only commit crimes outside buildings.

+They're creating sp dlc now, maybe it will come with new interiors.

-Proof: Not much, but still possible.

10. Mansions/Safe Houses/Garages

My Complete Opinion

We'll definitely receive more safe houses,

garages, and eventually mansions or high end houses. This map has soooo many

fully detailed properties. I believe they'll have similar interiors for a while

but eventually, I believe we will see variety. I also believe single player may

recieve a taste of gta onlines safe house system.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+There everywhere in Los Santos, and if people will pay $500,000 for an "apartment" they'll pay $1,000,000 for a mansion, the community wants this bad.

+Can add an additional element to online, and "space" players out across the map.

-Why Rockstar Would Wait:

+ maybe they have to make enough interiors to recycle around los santos, and it's time consuming.

+ They may have additional plans for mansions, or houses that ties to gameplay.

-Proof: Currently speculation

11. Online Racing

My Complete Opinion

Seriously, even though there are flaws we can't ignore, Gta

online racing is very enjoyable, and very popular. Theres crews created only

for racing with hundreds of people, that play everyday. Thats huge, especially

for the first year of gta online. I believe eventually racing will evolve, get

better presentation. In one interview I do remember someone at Rockstar saying

that they wanted to integrate Midnight Club style racing into gta, and they're

making progress towards that.

-Why Rockstar Would Care:

+Everyone tunes there car, and most people play races, a racing update would be a very smart, and appreciated move.

+ This is the first time a racing experience of this kind has been available. U can go out into the world, steal your favorite car, earn money as a criminal, upgrade your car, and race it against players all around the world. Rockstar is shaking up the racing genre.

+Theres basically a small racing game inside gta online. They could very easily release 20 cars, a few mods, make a few upgrades to the racing presentation, and label this the Midnight Club Dlc or checkered flag dlc or something. They would make good money, and the community would be excited.

-Proof: Curently speculation

12. Map Expansion/Importing

My Complete Opinion

In my opinion it will happen, but not soon. I

think they are still trying to figure out the best way to control, and manage

activity in gta online without creating a new game, and once thats achieved,

we may receive a standalone version of liberty city from IV with gta online mechanics

in it. But it may take a while

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+Will continue to keep players playing, and spending money between gta releases.

+Will continue use of "old maps" with new features, a new story, and new modes.

+Would be expensive at first, but will greatly pay off.

-Proof: Not much at the moment.

13. Gta 6

My Complete Opinion

You know how this go, but my completely opinionated opinion is that

it will be announced in 2017, and will drop in 2018, As much as I like liberty

city n its unutilized potential, I don't want a full gta there for a while, I

read a few places that said thats the place but I hope not.

Proof: Pure speculation, & opinion

14. Gta Online

My Complete Opinion

Gta online isnt dying or going anywhwere for a while. Even

though, the first year, and a half was basically beta, it blows so many other

online, and single player games out the water. Yes its very buggy, and needs

much improvement but this has already changed the gaming industry, and raised the

bar for open world games. This is only the beginning.

-After Heists:

After heists drops, Rockstar can

finally get back on schedule with online. There are a few interviews where

The Benz speaks on plenty of different features for online, however for

the first year Rockstar has had trouble with stabilizing the economy, and

perfecting heist. Now that heists are *should be* done, attention can go to

other features of online.

-Why Rockstar Cares So Much:

+ Rockstar is making plenty of money from gta online right now, yes it has it's issues, but its wildly successful.

+ Gta online is killing other games right now, online, and single player. This form of gta has the potential to have unlimited replayability until the next version of gta or gta online comes out.

+ Rockstar now has way to keep players playing, and spending in between releases.

+ Gta online is providing Rockstar with raw feedback from the community about what works, and doesn't. Sure right now the game needs improvement, but over time this we'll become "smarter" product.

+ Other games, and companies will soon start following this example.

-Paid DLC?: (Updating Soon)

-Proof: Gta online revenue article http://www.cinemablend.com/m/games/GTA-5-Online-Microtransactions-Earn-Tons-Money-62373.html

15. Cash Cards

My Complete Opinion

Its been a very profitable year, and a few months for

Rockstar. Cash cards, have made good money already but Rockstar obviously isn't

taking them away no time soon, or ever. And from a business standpoint I don't

blame them. You have a opportunity to sell a successful product (Gta v) and offer

an unlimited service (Gta online) that both will make millions of dollars.

While you don't completely pay for gta online its supported through (funding,

and feedback from the community).

-Why Rockstar Cares:

+ Cash cards are funding gta online, and are also an indicator of hour many people are playing.

+ Cash cards aren't only funding gta online, but they are creating a new revenue if income for Rockstar period.

+ Cash cards are convenient for both Rockstar, and the player.

16. Cops & Crooks

My Complete Opinion

Theres definitely several traces pointing towards cops & crooks being

added to the game.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+ this game mode is perfect for gta online, especially with crews, pv's, and apartments.

+ By far the most successful online mode from Gta IV, they would be fools not to bring this mode to gta online.

-Why Wait?

+ Don't want to take away shine from heist. Especially since they plan on adding more.

+ Still making adjustments/improvements to it.

-Proof: (Updating)

17. Drug Dealing

My Complete Opinion

I believe at some point a light form of drug dealing will come to gta online.

Where you can deal, buy, sell, and steal drugs. At first they may give you

chump change from dealing, then after balancing, and feedback increase payouts

accordingly. I think because of economy control, they're waiting to play around

with it. Im not pulling out my tin foil hat or anything but a "stable"

economy, and cash cards are pretty important.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+Adds extra, and fresh activity to free roam +Providez additional stream of income

+Can be expanded

+Already have tools, and system from previous game (Chinatown Wars)

+Gives players more things to spend large amounts of money on

+Adds extra replayability to online. (Instead of logging on to sell ballers, you now log on to check drug prices.)

-Why Rockstar Would Wait:

+ waiting to balance other ways to make money so it isn't overused or abused

+ maybe will release it as a pack associated with other things/features

+ waiting until money exploits are weakened.

-Proof: Drug dealing script/files (funmw2) http://gtaforums.com/topic/655425-missionracedeathmatch-creator-drug-trafficking-ctf/

18. Turf Wars/Clan Wars

My Complete Opinion

The Benz of Rockstar hinted at the idea roughly 2 years ago in an

interview, and to be honest I think this would br a great idea. May come down

the line after more updates but will definitely be welcomed.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

+Freemode is already a big deathmatch orgy, why not turn it into a free roam mini game with goals, and rewards.

+Will encourage players to join/play with crews more.

-Interview Quotes:Quotes About Turf Wars/Clan Wars

The Benz, Idigitaltimes/3DJuegos

"3DJuegos: In GTA IV had already some of these modalities, and were very

interesting. Are they back? For example, the Guild Wars

.L. B. Yes, we intend to do something similar, related to the taking and

possession of territories, but now we can not talk about it. Come next

year."

The Benz, Nowgamer Interview

"A Clan Wars style system may also be coming to GTA Onilne, but not on

launch. The Benz was cagey on the idea, and suggested that we would learn more

about such a feature next year. "

-Why Rockstar Would Wait:

+ waiting for more stability? (servers, exploits, functionality of mode)

+ they may have plans of something similar, but different than turf wars.

-Proof: Currently speculation

19. Other Creators (Survival, Versus, Parachuting)

My Complete Opinion

At some point, these creators were inside the game, and few could access the

menu. But after a patch, they removed the hidden features of content creator.

-Why Wait? (Updating)

+ don't want us to create anything that will pull attention away from the new adversay modes, heist, and any upcoming content they have planned.

+ bugs, improving mechanics of content creator.

+ May wait until sp dlc is out first.

-Proof: Other creators video (funmw2)

This is my first post, but I joined maybe a little over a year ago, and visit

the site daily. Since Gta V, Gta online dropped I have been checking several sources

for updates, and future features/changes. I appreciate this site, and wanted to

contribute to the beta/leak/update hunt(or whatever the hell people call it)

since we all wanna know something, but don't have much to go by.

I have a section about Single Player dlc, and Gta 6 because I believe they have an effect on gta online. I think maybe a new feature will be introduced in single player, then it'll make it to online. I included Gta 6 because gta online isn't ending, it's going to continue into the next game.

I was able to read all of this without an issue. Jesus Christ don't respond if you can't be bothered. Like that's all you can contribute? Blech ehhhhh long, ugh. Like, meh.

I literally hope ISIS takes over this forum and saws all of your heads off.

Putting each section in Spoiler tabs will make this a lot easier to read, especially for mobile users

Can't believe I forgot about that, thanks. i just put them in, and it looks much better.

An on call job filter, where we can put in some specifics, and wait until one pops up, or have a choice between several, and take the one that appeals to us the most.

And also a mission creator, those two features would be killer, for me at least.

The Future of Gta Online & Other

Features.

Also for anyone optimistic with ideas to submit to rockstar, you can email:

[email protected]

Hopefully it won't end up as spam, and may be considered. *Optimism*

1. Heists

Mission Creator DLC

Retro smg (Tec-9)

Turismo (from IV)

Coquette (from IV)

If they wanted gta online to last forever, or until the next

release this would be the answer after heist. Not only would mission

creator make the world last, but it

would challenge other games, and genres of games. I barely play other games already

but if I was able to make my own gta missions, I wouldnt touch other games at

all. Not to mention the mission structure is a little dated, and they know it,

which I believe is where the emphasis on heists comes from. Also they could

make money off it in sooo many ways. *Thats another story*

L. B. Anything."

-Proof: (Updating)

3. Side Missions/jobs (Vigilante, Fire fighter, Car Export, Ambulance, Street Racing)

Community wants it bad, and may be

willing to pay for it, if its decent. Also it would extend the game, and offer

a chance to reinvent gta side missions.

-Proof: Currently speculation

4. More Missions

Keep things fresh, introduce new

characters, keep us entertained between heists, and to give us more ideas for

mission creator.

-Proof: Currently speculation

5. Single Player DLC

After Gta Online is stabilized, n wont require as much

attention, and maintenance, I see them dropping single player dlc maybe 3rd/4th

Quarter 2015.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:

Its long overdue, and lets face it

after you beat single player gta in 2015 theres nothing to do. *yep. I said

it.* Theres proof of some type of zombie dlc, *thanks to funmw2* and some

proof of Franklins voice actor confirming future dlc. I cant remember from

where, but Ill update this post eventually.

-Proof: (Updating)

6. Vehicles

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:(Updating)

-Proof: (Updating)

7. Weapons

At this rate new weapons will always come out. I think a lot of

our favorites will make a return, and a handful of new weapons. We always want

them, and now rockstar is n a position to drop them in the game whenever they

want.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This: (Updating)

-Proof: (Updating)

8. Job Filter

Its definitely coming, theres way too many jobs to sort

through to find exactly what you want. Also, there are a few gems out there

that are definitely fun to play, and watch. Also this would greatly help with

the expansion of the content creator.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This:(Updating)

-Proof: Currently speculation

9. Interiors

This game is f**king huge. However they're aren't many interiors

available for free roamers which suck. I believe that maybe the modding

community will play around on pc n make some things happen but I dont see

rockstar adding more interiors just for the sake of it. Although it would be

appreciated.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This: (Updating)

-Proof: Not much, but still possible.

10. Mansions/Safe Houses/Garages

We'll definitely receive more safe houses,

garages, and eventually mansions or high end houses. This map has soooo many

fully detailed properties. I believe they'll have similar interiors for a while

but eventually, I believe we will see variety. I also believe single player may

recieve a taste of gta onlines safe house system.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This: (Updating)

-Why Rockstar Would Wait: (Updating)

-Proof: Currently speculation

11. Online Racing

Seriously, even though there are flaws we can't ignore, Gta

online racing is very enjoyable, and very popular. Theres crews created only

for racing with hundreds of people, that play everyday. Thats huge, especially

for the first year of gta online. I believe eventually racing will evolve, get

better presentation. In one interview I do remember someone at Rockstar saying

that they wanted to integrate Midnight Club style racing into gta, and theyre

making progress towards that.

-Why Rockstar Would Care: (Updating)

-Proof: Curently speculation

12. Map Expansion/Importing

In my opinion it will happen, but not soon. I

think they are still trying to figure out the best way to control, and manage

activity in gta online without creating a new game, and once thats achieved,

we may receive a standalone version of liberty city from IV with gta online mechanics

in it. But it may take a while

-Why Rockstar Would Add This: (Updating)

-Proof: Not much at the moment.

13. Gta 6

14. Gta Online

-Paid DLC?: (Updating Soon)

-Proof: (Updating Soon)

15. Cash Cards

-Why Rockstar Cares: (Updating)

16. Cops & Crooks

Theres definitely several traces pointing towards cops & crooks being

added to the game.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This: (Updating)

-Why Wait? (Updating)

-Proof: (Updating)

17. Drug Dealing

-Why Rockstar Would Add This: (Updating)

-Proof: (Updating)

18. Turf Wars/Clan Wars

The Benz of Rockstar hinted at the idea roughly 2 years ago in an

interview, and to be honest I think this would br a great idea. May come down

the line after more updates but will definitely be welcomed.

-Why Rockstar Would Add This: (Updating)

-Interview Quotes:Quotes About Turf Wars/Clan Wars

The Benz, Idigitaltimes/3DJuegos

"3DJuegos: In GTA IV had already some of these modalities, and were very

interesting. Are they back? For example, the Guild Wars

.L. B. Yes, we intend to do something similar, related to the taking and

possession of territories, but now we can not talk about it. Come next

year."

The Benz, Nowgamer Interview

"A Clan Wars style system may also be coming to GTA Onilne, but not on

launch. The Benz was cagey on the idea, and suggested that we would learn more

about such a feature next year. "

-Proof: Currently speculation

19. Other Creators (Survival, Versus, Parachuting)

At some point, these creators were inside the game, and few could access the

menu. But after a patch, they removed the hidden features of content creator.

You know The Benz and Rockstar talk a lot of sh*t right?

Secondly, if it took them THIS long to do heists the future is very bleak.

Yeah, I know they may have said things to sound nice, and to gather hype for their product, but I referenced them to show people exactly what they said, and didn't say. That, and game files are all we have to work with. (Which is sad). And about heists "taking that long" to release. Heist didn't actually take that long, they were done but didn't release it. It's more than convenient that from October 2013 to March 2015 a feature was delayed, but several updates, and patches were made, holiday theme content packs dropped, "extra modes" were added, exploits were fixed, and more importantly cash cards were buyable. The business plan always was to delay heist. Rockstar knows what fans want, but at the same time is a million dollar company. Same thing with next gen, and PC delays, they knew before gta v dropped they they would make more money by not saying anything for a year after everyonr had they're last gen copies. I'm huge gta fan, but I know business practices when I see them. Even if Rockstar keeps they're workers out the loop (which I heard is true) the shot callers know the schedule. Not to rant but the delay of heist, and anything else is no coincidence, but a smart move.

sweetbrother

^ I always thought it was a mixture of both things. The heists you saw in the 2013 trailer sucked so they worked on it. Meanwhile A LOT of bugs and loopholes kept coming up and set them back to square one.

R* are also un-organised and sloppy. Dont underestimate their poor skills for business tatics, they generally are quite sh*t at getting things done on time.

this should be a good read, once everything is hammered in well.

looking forward for more, many things for sure, the more we all try to understand why/how/when/etc.? , the better.

in short to what i was going to say before(though didn't cause it can easily be misinterpreted),

We won't know till, what we know gets beyond a shadow of a doubt.(and of course R* is able to deal with their issues, and we can deal with ours, and not let either side get away with it) the more informed the better

(sadly not everyone is informed, and let be led, by the pied pipers of speculation)which ain't bad, but not always helpful, specially, if some one starts a fuss about it, which is why we should

(actually get serious, to get out of the muck, and towards what we want- it won't help, if gold gets locked away, cause of people wanting the easy way out-)

edit: sources that don't have a -questionable- reputation would be nice as well, which is only one person, wish you luck "313izzle" ^-^

Edited by GTKING1st

Lol no, you're entirely wrong about the heist delay. There's plenty of evidence in the code that shows how heists were reworked and recreated multiple times.

Since, I can't read code, but I am aware of the evidence you talked about I can admit I may have jumped the gun on the heist consiracy thing a little bit..ha ha..the thing that made me question them was the poor communication. I couldn't completely tell if they we struggling or if they were "milking" time at certain points.
