Take long on missions, make sure everyone's dead, grab whatever you're supposed to then take cover and wait for the rest of the AI to come and kill them, then go. Just maximize your play time in Missions to make the most money.

Yep. You can easily make 110k+ in an hour by the Dubstas and Missions.

 

So if you play just one hour a day until Heists come out, that's a possible 900k to a Million in one week.

It's not going to make anyone rich, but I discovered an interesting side angle to the robbing-convenience-stores-during-missions glitch. As you probably know, there are no clerks in the stores, so you can shoot the cash registers and take the money (usually $100 to $170 if you choose a store with two registers), then leave the store, run across the street, come back and do it again.

 

Last night as I was completing "Satellite Communications," I stopped the truck outside the convenience store that's next to the gas station in Sandy Shores, went in and shot the registers, then picked up the cash. When i came out, I ran around the truck, and as I returned to store, I heard the sound of the registers being shot. Sure enough, when I entered the store, the registers were already smoking and the money was laying there, another $180. I tried it again, and again, and whichever direction I ran around the truck, I'd heard the shots as I completed the circle, and the money was waiting for me.

 

I picked up about $3000 in probably four minutes of running in and out of the store before completing the mission. If you're looking to extend the mission time/payout, it's a good way to profitably kill time.

Making money in this game is not a problem, spending it is. I would advise doing missions that give you free ammo, like cops capacity, and Los Santos Connection. And look for spawn locations of the Police swat truck, get in and it will give you free armor. Also, don't spend money on stuff that you don't need like new clothes, multiple paint jobs for each car, tattoos, painting your guns, tire smoke, anything other than a Buzzard from Pegasus, etc....
