If it's 4k everybody will be like

Discuss. What if the trailer is 4k?

I will watch it at 480p. If it is good, I will watch it at 720 or 1080p. Over and over for a little while. lol.

Would prefer a 1080p 60fps trailer with cranked up AA than a 4k trailer using a sh*t ton of bandwidth.

I am expecting a technical trailer, probably made within the Film Maker itself, it will show how they did it with a 'Behind The Scenes' 2nd trailer or Newswire screenshots as well.

I do not think it will matter if it is 4K, 60 fps, whatever.... I do not think it will be the sort of trailer to show much gameplay.

not interested in 4K.

just give me it in 1080p 60fps.

Like most people said: 1080p 60 fps is perfect.

The only thing 4K would add to this trailer is too show that the engine is capable of running in 4K, which we already got confirmed.

We can only hope. I too would like a 1080p 60fps trailer. :)

even if rockstar don't release it at 60fps someone will edit it to 60fps. there are a few 60fps versions of console trailers. i know it's not true 60fps but better than nothing!

Isn't 4k, 120hz, gsync, quad sli and so on just a gimmick to make one waste loads of money?

i'll be quite happy with 1920x1080 & 60fps on one gpu and a bog standard led screen.

No, I wouldn't call 4k a gimmick, lol. It's the natural progression of higher resolution. However, it isn't exactly affordable just yet. When it does become affordable, and when there's easier ways to get into 4k, it will most likely become the next standard, eventually replacing 1080p.

But again, this is in the more distant future. Right now, I'm fine with 1080p 60+ FPS.

I'm hoping for 1080p 60 FPS than 4K 30 FPS. Although, the max I'd be able to play it will be 720p 60 FPS, thanks to Indonesian internet bandwidth.

- IMHO 4K isn't a gimmick. It's just not there yet. Back in 2003 we thought 1080p is a gimmick too, and now we're here with 1080p screens pretty much everywhere.

- 120 Hz is still reserved for premium gamers, who demand minimum input/display lag.

- G-Sync is a gimmick. NVIDIA will be forced to adapt AMD-VESA's FreeSync, no matter what.

- Quad SLI is like 120 Hz, purely aimed for enthusiasts.
