The overwhelming experience of GTA: Online heists

Recommended Posts

Rockstar has announced GTA: Online heists set for the 10th of March, my question is what will you be doing first?

We've already discovered the new items that will be available in heists, new clothing, weapons, vehicles etc. We also know that the actual heist missions will be coming along with them.

All of these things are being added at once for the whole update, so what do you do first once the update comes along? Will you be taking your time and discovering all of the new clothing they've added and buy new stuff? Or will you be knocking down Lester's door asking where the hell do you do your first heist?

I personally have no idea what to do, with everything being added I feel as its a race to discover all of the new stuff first. I also don't have a stable group of three playing heists with me, meaning I have friends who get on gta online but none of them know each other and I have no idea when they will all be online together. (so if anyone's looking for another person on xbox one i'm available)

Back on topic, yes - the question. I'm interested to see what people are going to do first, whether they have a group of friends that are set to stay up late for heists and complete them with record time, or are you the steady type which looks at all the things and makes sure you know what you're doing to you don't land face first when starting your heist. So yeah, tell me.

If we are allowed a 4th property or new property, that will probably come first. Next will be vehicles depending on what they are and if they are pegasis or require garage space.

Since nobody knows how they'll work or something, I guess Lester will call you or email you to start, I really doubt all the tactical gear and vehicles will be available right away, probably a couple of normal vehicles and maybe features but not the content, you probably need to unlock it.

The very first thing I'll do is check the (in-game) internet and see what vehicles were added for sale. Then I'll go to Ammunation, the clothing store, and the mask store. Afterwards I'll return to singleplayer to test the new vehicles. After having done that, I will purchase whatever I'm interested in and then I may move onto the actual heists after that... or just go into free roam with the new toys, I dunno.

That's what I was thinking, somewhat along the lines of setting up heists and Lester says something like "You'll uhh need a flare gun to signal the helicopter"

That's what I was thinking, somewhat along the lines of setting up heists and Lester says something like "You'll uhh need a flare gun to signal the helicopter" on the planning board it didn't say that much about outfits, so that's what making people believe the clothes will be available without doing the heist. I'm going to buy everything that can be bought, that looks remotely worth buying. I'll spend half an hour playing with and checking out the new stuff. Then onto heists.

yeah pretty much this

I'll probably be doing the heists on weekend though. Probably be too tired before then. Wish all the snow came on the week of heists so work would be out, would have been perfect.

Cars and clothes and any new features.

then never play heists cause i dont have friends

This so hard. Don't have enough friends come on reliably enough to play the heists, it seems, so I'll just get the new clothes and see if any new cars seem rad and go on with my life.

I'll test the vehicles in SP first. Then join a private lobby with my friends and moan about how expensive is everything (I expect to spend about 5 millions for all clothes and vehicles).

Then try the heists and realized that it's only a longer mission.

like someone said only in reverse order, ill stay in SP try out the vehicles, and modify them out(only one problem, i lost my 100% cause i had to reformat ;~; -wah- jk, on the crying -_-)

then see what is up on the heist's, and contact my active crew leader, to see if they are game, or whats the plan, and who is their team, to know if im main team, or back-up if first selection is offline, or unstable in many/variety of ways

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

while i contact them, ill do some phone or apartment laptop web-surfing, while hoping for no -(negative) or sarcastic post/threads about heist.

then going shopping if public sessions seem okay for going without passive, or decent enough to even try public with passive

then ill go crew/then closed crew-friends/then invite if everyone has gone crazy.

but that is to say if the servers are functioning, if so, ill be able to do what is below the line above which is barely visible,

and i forgot what i was going to say after i type this but owell, forgot ^-^, hope the 10th is BA, and fun at no one's expense for all

edit:remebered a while ago, might as well say it, the weaponized armored vehicles, if accessible in SP, im definitely going to rampage SP, before going online.!!

Me right there. Friends have all moved on to other games + randoms cannot do heists = no heists for me.

I'll check out the new stuff, but heists are the sole reason I've come back to LS - once my fears are confirmed I expect I'll make a second departure, most likely permanently.

Said it before, will say it again: too long, R* - you waited too goddamn long.
