Rumor: Rockstar developing “monumental” GTA V story content

Recommended Posts

Would 60 missions please anyone though? Maybe 100? What could it take to cheer people up? :p

If they didn´t waste so much potential with the SP from the start, we wouldn´t need a discussion how big the DLC has to be to rescue the SP experience.

They left people hungry with the SP, this is why people are so desperate for this mysterious DLC. But let´s be realistic, a DLC can be a great addition to a well-made SP, the frosting on a already delicious cake...but it can´t fix a half-assed SP experience.

Too many people are hoping for a DLC which will make us forget all the flaws V´s SP has. This will end up in a huge disappointment.

That's exactly why I'm not hyped about any of it

At least 40, maybe 60 more story missions

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

No.

its possible. if its one giant SP DLC, instead of two like TBoGT & TLAD. then 40-60missions is very possible.
There was like 40, and that was in comparison to IV's 93 or so missions. You're setting yourself up for disappointment.

cant be anymore disappointed. did you not play SP? it cant get any f*cking worse.

I hope i can continue story with Michael dead otherwise its not my story i am playing and would rather not have had choice in first place if that's the case

more story meaningful choices mean more replayability imo

I must once again comment on how the GTA fanbase is easily the most gullible one I've been into.

Seriously, all you need to do is create a "news" blog, post about some obviously bullcrap "monumental" info apparently only you got and BOOM - five page thread.

Frankly, it's cringe-worthy to see so many people falling for this.

It makes perfect sense. Their last two open world games had pretty substantial story DLC. The team working on GTA V's story DLC has probably been working this entire time, so I expect it to be pretty big. I honestly can't think of a reason why I shouldn't believe that.

Nobody cares. You can't stop the people to express themselves.

When did I try to stop that? As far as I know, criticism isn't opposing freedom of speech.

Exactly man. That's what I'm yearning for right now.

For me, hype for V and anything related to it died a long time ago, and I've long concluded it to be quite a disappointment. To be honest, anything new Rockstar has got to say about V just don't really interest or excite me anymore, even if it's about this much-anticipated SP DLC.

I just wanna hear news of VI being set in modern VC/South Florida with major improvements and additions exceeding previous GTAs.

Welcome to the V Section...

That's how it works. Unfortunately.

Part of me still wants it to be set in the 80s if it's in Vice City (to me Vice City IS the 80s and always will be) but...that probably won't happen since all the HD era games have been set in modern times.

Well you'd obviously be a fool to think R* isn't going to eventually release a new story DLC. Its inevitable.

Possible Lamar becomes playable?

lamar was origionally supposed to be playable, but he when to jail during the games production. he was going to replace franklin after option c.

Is it true that Lamar was originally planned to be a playable character when choosing SPOILER ending C?

Wow! Where did you hear that from? Imma keep it 1000 with you, originally there was gonna be a different story, with Lamar being deeper involved. However, I caught a case in real life that had me "tied up" for a few months and Rockstar had to move on, so the story became the one you see on GTA V. However, I am EXTREMELY thankful to Rockstar games for sticking with me through such a rough time and allowing me to continue my role as Lamar once I was available to work.

Thanks for the answer Slink. And I got the info from a website called "imdb" and they said that Rockstar left some coding in the files mentioning it.

It won't need to fix anything for anyone who likes it, im sure there's plenty of people who don't share your opinion. At least they can have some fun.

I can't wait for a long list of reasons the DLC isn't as good as lost and damned and undead nightmare, all the "I'm not buying it!" Then complaining SP gets nothing. So there's that :p

Take it with a truck of salt.

I CANNOT believe that.

"GTA V is getting Trevor-only DLC. My source also told me that GTA IV would have a foreign protagonist and Max Payne 3 would be based in Brazil so I trust him."

Anyone can do that.
