This topic has been debated on for awhile now, and i want to know your Opinions.

 

Are the Elite players better or the Professionals?

 

Elite Players - Top of the line when it comes to PvP, knows the in's and outs of LS. Ammo is main priority, stays mostly in FM, but does missions when he/she absolutely has to.

 

Professionals - Top of the line in missions, knows the in's and outs of the fastest payout. Usually has a nice sum of cash and knows how to obtain alot of cash, and is occasionally in FM. But PvP isn't a priority. These people also know glitches,tips, and tricks.

OP I'll tell you a secret: I am neither a elite player or a professional but a simple gamer who plays GTA Online for fun and not to be a "top player" or anything.

I guess I could say I'm an elite player. I like PvP however I spend a lot of my time when I played in deathmatches not in freemode. I do missions when they pop up.

More of a Professional myself. I spend most of my time in missions, but my crew is pretty PvP-savvy.

Retired Elite turned to Professional. I dont care for turning free roam lobbies into deathmatches anymore, too boring and repetetive.

 

All i do is missions now with crew mates and go all out to role-play to add a stronger sense of fun, danger and urgency. We limit our weapons and ammo availability to achieve this. Worth it.

I like this thread, even though the two play styles seem like dichotomies, I bet it works a lot like the Kinsey scale... most fall somewhere in the middle.

 

Personally, I identify as a professional. (my crew is even called the GTA Professionals)

 

I know all the missions by heart. How each works in great detail. PvP is fun, but takes a back seat to co-op... and almost never any PvP in free roam these days.

 

@OP - I know you've been struggling for a hit topic lately. This might be it.

There's no difference between elite and professional in this context, you could swap the two over in your OP and it wouldn't make any less sense. What you seem to be asking is are you better at killing AI or other players.

Neither. I just play and I don't suck. I play around in freeroam, kill people here and there, hunt bounties. Then I play races/deathmatches/missions and generally perform well in those too.

You have it backwards. I'm an Elite player. I know all the missions and play them good, same with survivals and am very good at races. I'm also high ranked and have more money than I could ever spend. Those punks that spend all their time in free roam and only play RR to buy more ammo shouldn't even be called professionals.

i care more about missions and other PvE stuff. I can hold my own in PvP but I don't really the game is primarily for it so I don't really care. There are other games for a better pvp experience.
