PvP Kill Counter

So you kill another player or vise versa, it pops up in the bottom left of the screen with the score.

 

Yesterday I spawned into a lobby and was pretty much killed instantly, the counter had me winning 8-5.

 

Does the counter keep individual records? I always thought if you or the other player left the session it reset?

I recognised the gamer tag as someone I had battled a couple of days earlier but he's not in my friends list or crew either

The counter will reset if you or your opponent decide to leave the session indeed.

True.On a side note occasionally the counter glitches and will say you killed a person 10 times or whatever even though you only kill them once or twice

Replaces the person u were killing or being killed. For example if I was in a lobby for an hour spawn killing a guy 25-10 and he leaves, the next guy that joins and dies to u will be on the 10-25 side

only if you were in the same session not if you run into them in a random lobby unless the same thing as I stated above must of happened.

I have been seeing this alot for a while now. It seems like what is happening is when a player you are fighting leaves the lobby the count transfers to the next player that enters the lobby and you kill. The counter always resets when you leave a lobby because it never keeps track of friends that I mess around with or anyone that I had previously battled.

Thats what im sayin the guy he was fighting probably left, then you entered and the count transfered to you.
