PATCHED - MARCH 12, 2015.

 

 

Due to the heist update, I advise people wait to try this until the server issues calm down. From preliminary testing it appears to be patched. Proceed at your own risk...

But seriously, if you have your main character in slot 2(on the right) when you create a new char in slot 1 and SKIP THE TUTORIAL, you get all your slot 2 characters vehicles.

 

Method in spoiler

 

 

Text tutorial (thanks to the Lonesome Drifter and T.V. Eye for suggestions and tips!)

 

Pre-glitch setup from T.V. Eye (Highly recommended but optional):

i) If you have a character in slot 1, sell off all the cars that you PURCHASED (not the ones you stole of the street).

ii) Then, fully upgrade all the cars you can manage that you PURCHASED with your character in slot 2.

iii) Fill up any free spaces or replace vehicles not worth their space by buying cars of your choice and replacing them. Again, upgrade these cars if you can.

 

Method (thanks Lonesome Drifter for motivating me to type a proper text tutorial)

1. Begin Process from INVITE ONLY. Delete (if you have one) your hopefully low level character in slot one.

2. Purchase 10 car garage as first property (I did south shambles)

3. Put all high end vehicles (bought from websites) in garage, making sure the car you want to sell immediately is in slot 1 (back far left)

4. Get into car in slot 1 and drive out onto street, and make sure you have your spawn set to last location so you spawn with the car.

5. Exit to single player.

6. Start new online character from single player (online, select character) in slot 1 and create a new character (randomized) with the SAME NAME as your main in slot 2.

7. Skip tutorial

8. As soon as spawned in, exit to single player via character select (dpad).

9. From single player, go to online, play online, invite only (important)

10. When u spawn u should see your car u were last in from your other character.

11. Get in that car and sell that bitch!

12. Use profit to buy same garage as other character (I did south shambles)

13. All cars from your main character SHOULD be in the garage (call mechanic to confirm).

14. Sell cars.

15. ??????

16. Profit (make sure to deposit to account before deleting and repeating)

It might seem like a good thing your doing, but the more people who find out about this the longer it will take for R* to patch therefore delaying DLC.

 

You couldn't have just told your friends you felt the need to come from that site and paste it here for the more honest players to see.

my main character is actually in slot 2,when I was in ps3 it did actually happened to me I deleted my 1st character (I had 2 males never played with 1character they looked the same so I made a female)and all my cars from 2nd character transferred when I bought a 10 car garage for my newly created character,did not work for ps4

Honestly, if you're this emotional about something so simple that doesn't even matter, I wouldn't want you to be a new moderator.

You've clearly never been over to the Creator section and seen the amount of help and advice I've dished out. Yeah I was a bit rowdy at first on this section when I joined but that's cause there's always people baiting ye. But times have changed and I've grown to becoming one of thee most helpful on this site. I don't glitch or mod neither.

 

As a MOD I'd make (It's spelled Raavi, go edit your post) look like a liberal, slacker softie. I'd close half this section down. He's got a tough job and you lot just say he's a dick when in fact this sites riddled with idiots and he's got the task of fitering through it. Your the dicks

your "good deeds" on a section dont take away the fact you want mod privilages to be an ultra dick!

 

mods with mentality like yours are the ones that ruin forums.

This sites rife with idiots and non-sensical comments, look at anything smoked says. This online section is the blight of these forums, half the members don't even check out the Off-Topic section. They just wanna sit right here and moan about how long DLCs are taking while at the same time advertisng money glitches!

Honestly, I'm interested in this just so I can reproduce my 2nd, primary, into my first and then actually have a diverse stable of cars.

 

Only reason I haven't done so I've got a Buzzard on Char 1.

 

Can we confirm this is working on PS3? I'll sacrifice Buzzard if I can just recoup the funds elsewhere.
