This is probably well known, but in the mission extradition there's

Two fighter jets at sandy shores airfield, making the mission extremely easy. Sorry if this is common knowledge.

Buzzard is still the better option in my opinion. You can kill everything on the tarmac, including the target in the Titan in one go. Then chasing down the Limo is pretty straightforward. Land, pick up the case, and take to Mr Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant.

They are actually the fighter jets that get scrambled if you go straight to the base, but you can steal them first, it makes the mission too easy really, but is good fun taking out the DA and trying to land the jet to collect the briefcase, mix it up though man, it's one of the best things about GTA Online, don't do the obvious.

If you play with randoms and they start at the gates, you're better off driving towards the DA and sniping the engines of the Titan from the roadside (10 shots w/ Heavy Sniper).

 

PS real men not only retrieve the briefcase by landing the Lazer they deliver it like that too - Madrazo's roof is about the same size as a carrier landing

Did anyone else notice the Lazer jets missing from the Sandy Shores airstrip? Seeing how you used to spawn close to the airstrip (if I remember correctly) and an update changed that to spawning outside Zancudo, has Rockstar decided to completely remove the option for players to grab free Lazer jets?

Looks like it, and it's disappointing! The free jet was (for me) the most fun part of the mission. Now you have to just enter the base or have a Pegasus vehicle available.

I have always jumped in from the north highway, thrown a sticky on as the Titan takes off, then just drive over to a Laser and take off. Usually the fastest method. Speed doesn't pay anymore though.

On Xbox One there are no Lazers on the Sandy Shores airfield anymore, but you can call your Hydra or do it like a man, stealing the Lazer right from the freaking base.

Well, speaking about delivery of briefcase, I prefer to halo jump right in that marker. Bonus points: do it before your jet will hit the ground.

Yep, they removed the Lazers from Sandy Shores Airfield with the Heists Update. I just use the Hydra now.

I often drive fast to the corner where the DA appears then use heavy sniper on the cargo plane to blow it up, then wait for another player to trigger Fort Zancudo and the DA appearing which I then blow up.

I'll probably be doing that with my main character too, but for the others...

 

Plus, I like using vehicles provided in a mission instead of always making it easy with personal super vehicles and pegasus vehicles.

Lazers do still spawn, but not until someone enters the base. When they do spawn, they already have pilots and red blips. The jets won't take off from the Sandy Shores airfield until the briefcase has been collected.

Old information. I did it today, and there were no Lazers there. This is on the XB1 by the way. Can't speak for other consoles.

Lol. Exactly. I used to always go straight for Sandy Shores, trying to beat the guys before they jump the fence, and either end up in a lazer or my buzzard. Now that I have hydra, do not care about buzzard or lazers.
