Disappearing melee weapons?

My bat and golf club went missing, wtf? The bat is my favorite melee weapon, can anyone tell me where to find a new one so I don't have to search the forums needlessly for 15 minutes?

 

Edit,, hammer is also missing. Anyone know why this may happen?

The mission meth'd up has two melee enemies, not sure what they carry though.

None of my melee weapons disappeared but my Homing Launcher did.

I'm so pissed lol I went into a crew on crew melee fight in free roam and my bat was long gone!

They break after some time.. The only which usually remains are the knifes

 

And the worst i guess they can only be found on deathmatches, not sure

Yes they go missing but there is 20000 melee DMs available to pick up again.

 

That's how I got my trusty crowbar back.

I forgot the golf club was in the game it disappeared from my inventory so long ago.

 

Finally rediscovered it a few weeks ago.

Yeah, same problem. I was like wtf did my stuff go but they were pretty easy to get back so no big deal.

Question, are you on last gen? If so be warned, modders can take all you weapons, switching sessions gets them all back but you lose all the melee weapons you collected and the hammer, this just happend to me the other day, really annoying

in my case from one day to the other my bat, golfclub and the crowbar all of them when missing.

Mine disappeared too, wasn't fun spending another ffin 75k on it.

Hammer : Get a friend or a random player who owns the special edition of the game and can drop it for you.

 

Baseballbat : Any DM and a mission Meth'd Up as you walk up to RV you got 2 NPC's with melee weapons, 1 has bat and other wrench i think

 

Golf Club : You can either enter golf game and after a game you will keep it in inventory OR you can go to golf course and scary 1 of the golfers to force them to drop their club

Same happened to me last week. Fortunately I have the SE and I know a dm that contains the bat, golf club, crow bar, molotovs all in one. So anytime I lose anything I just fire up the dm and im good.
