wondering how heist will work for the solo player..

Recommended Posts

As the title says..

If your a solo player how do you think getting into groups will be like?

Queue system,?

Its not like there's a /looking for group option..or text chat window like in mmos , so I wonder how are we to find groups..

Obviously I'm referring to those without mass friends list or active crews..

You'll end up being trolled by randoms and losing a lot of cash..

If you could do them solo they'd get old real fast. This way most players will be limited by how often they can play them with 3 other friends online.

I doubt I 'll get a team together more than a couple of times a month, maybe a little more the first month

You need to be hired by a heist leader, so good luck. Anyone with a good solid friend's network won't hire you. You'll have to hope it'll be like crew recruitment, random with chat on everyone "Hey, I'm doing a heist. Anyone want to do a heist with me?"

I think it will be same as joining a random mission with random people.

My guess is you'll be stuck with randoms. Maybe with the auto invite like other missions and hope for the best. I'm in the same boat. Hopefully there'll be some kind of heist hiring thread here when it comes out so solo players could hook up on here and make plans for the heist.

And, look me up. You could join my crew if you like or send me a PM if you want to make plans for heists since I'm kind of a solo player myself.

I'm sure this has been stated already, but you'll be stuck with randoms and trolls most likely. But since it is new DLC and a big DLC, I think most people will take it seriously.

This is just a suggestion, but I would recommend you buying a good mic if you don't already have one. I would also suggest using Party Chat on both the PS4 and Xbox One as well as on Last Gen. consoles. If you really need a good group you can add me if you're on PSN ( WWE-Michael-B ) and I know at least 6 players who are good guys and will take Heists seriously and have good mics.

Pretty sure that you won't be able to solo them kinda like how certain missions like landing gear you need atleast 4 players to start up. If you are worried about not having anyone to do heists with then join up with a crew on social club dedicated to doing heists, don't even bother with randoms.

they wont, obviously.

the whole point of online is to make friends, and join a crew - its a social game, afterall.

i have about 100~ friends on my list now, up from about 20 when Online first came out, and a few im really tight with, as tight as you can be with online friends.

get yourself a mic, talk to some people, make friends, and join a crew - its pretty easy, even for an antisocial f*ckhead like me.

Thats probably not going to happen since theres so much planning involved, and teamwork. Rockstar knows that trolls exist, they don't really care, but they know...

if you go solo you'll probably have three npc's to help you. i suggest you join a crew.

Its been confirmed that its 4 players

I wanted to interject or something, but I'm speechless...

Solo gamers are pretty much gonna be left out in the cold on heists. I joined a crew just because I wanted to be able to do heists when they came out. It turned out to be a good decision for me. I've made some good friends. Try making a post in the free agents section.

I'm assuming just like missions and survivals, can't be bothered with crew.

nope probably not, so you either A make some friends on here or B join a good competent crew, I kinda hope R* puts in a need x amount more players to start heists notification so lone wolf players are forced to play with other people. Edited by DrunkGamer
