PS4/XBONE/PS3/360 Emulator for PC to run GTA V?

I know that there is currently an emulator in the works for the 360 called Xenia. with this emulator it would be possible to run GTA V. However I would imagine that you would get very poor performance with your typical gaming PC and that only CPUs in the future can run it well.

PS4 and XBONE share a PC like architecture. x86 AMD. I imagine that it would easier to make a Emulator for New gen consoles. Especially if you used an 8 core AMD CPU. Are there any Emulators in the works? Because I feel with all these delays, we might get an emulator that can run GTA V before it actually ever comes out for PC.

Hate to burst your bubble, but no one has yet to attempt to create a PS4 or Xbox One emulator. One hurdle to this is the tight security on the consoles. Give it time, they'll come, but before it does, GTA V will already be on PC.

Also, PS3 and 360 have a LONG way before they're functional.

You won't see a PS4 or Xbox One emulator until 2025 at least. There is a PS3 and 360 emulator in the works. Both are very early and can barely play any AAA titles as it is.

What do you think the chances are that the PC version of GTA V will be finished before the PS3/360 emulator?

The PS3 emulator runs homebrew games. It can run a few AAA titles but only to the starting screen before crashing. Anyways why play using an emulator? You can't use the mouse, you use 4 keyboard buttons to aim, theres no fun.

Yes. it will take time to get it functional, but at least the project has started.

Almost impossible, but PS4/X1 emulator should be much easier to develop owing its similarity to PC (especially X1 with the DDR3 RAM and DX11).

Or, OP you could just suck it up and wait an additional 3 weeks to your already long wait for GTA V.

it's just for science it never be accomplished to product

It's much easier than a Xbox 360/PS3 emulator, as the next-gen consoles are x86-based.

The post was abit targeted to ThaRealRLP.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. With the way things are going now, we'll probably have PS5 and PS6 emulators by the time GTA V is released for PC.

Only time will tell I guess. But define "easier." The PS3 emulator is further along than the 360 emulator.

Doesn't Windows 10 now support playing Xbox one games on it or something? Though Windows 10 is in beta, full version might come out before GTA 5 on PC (I think its releasing in June?), but I highly doubt it
