Year of the beards?

So , i have heard numerous others ask to have this feature added. Your offline character can get his full beard on, but not online.... Why does it seem to be so hard for them to add this feature to our players? I mean i honestly thought it would happen last Movemeber , even though it started out as growing mustaches, most now in days who participate in that month tend to not shave at all and grow some grizzly beards. I just want my player to finally have his full beard on . Anyone think this might be the year of the beard? Or am i going to have to wait till someone figures out how to mod it ?

Same reason we dont have most of SP clothing its the model or somesh*t like that thats why we dont have beards or hairstyles like SP

mmm clothes is a different thing as they would have to remodel every piece of clothes to fit the generic body of out characters.

 

beards can be done easily if they actually wanted.

 

i can only blame lazyness and oversight for this not being in the game already.

 

i can grow a full beard IRL i want my guy to have it!

Not as easy as you may think...well for these guys anyway.. Remember what woul happen when you put a hat on? You'd have to visit te barber shop everytine to get rid of the cornrolls...now that wasnt too bad but with the new face coverings coming out you're probably going to get herpes on your face everytime you take one off..

The reason we don't have proper beards is because there are lots and lots of combinations for your characters face. Thus they'd have to create just as many models to fit your characters face properly. Very few games with fully customisable characters have 'proper' beards because of this.

 

It's the same reason there are no options for body type. Having a generic model for each gender means they can make one model and it will fit perfectly.

it maybe that they dont think they would look good on online players because were less detailed or something look at franklin afro beard or hairstyle in general its looks more realistic then our painted on beards and hair because hes more detailed and notice how all our characters are all skronny because they didnt want waste their time on online models or w.e im bad at explaining so it might not make much sense
