Paully
For the next GTA release they do, PC should buy the rights to have it released first!! That way consoles will be left waiting! Let em rage! lol
ValidTrack
Nice. Well, i spent 800$ on 2 parts and +80$ preorder in beginning of january to play. You do know rockstar, i could have done something better or useful with that money, than just sitting here and reading that full rusted bucket of bullsh*t. Simply every delay is a full shovel of crap into my eyes. Totallycasual and gabrielbld
blues3531
f*cking ridiculous. 200k in game cash. I don't think anyone gives a f*ck about that, actually having a big headstart makes playing less fun sometimes. They should just release the game on the new date at 39.99. f*cking 60 bucks for the third time I'll be buying this game a year and a half later. blues3531
Instead of getting pissed off, look at it this way, April is closer to the release of new graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia. AMD R9-300 series and Nvidia "Big Maxwell" GM200 (probably the GTX 1000 series). Especially for those wanting to experience GTA V at 4K and 60FPS. The only reason I'm irked about the delays is I just bought a gtx970 this weekend....and a few weeks before that an i7 4790k and 16gigs of ram. DentureDynamite
You guys should know THAT R* have been working very hard to make this game free of bugs and fully optimized, they also say that the game is ''their most graphically and technically advanced version yet''. So just wait and move on by something else that make you PATIENT. lol R* has been saying a lot of things. Where's the proof? At this point, they're gaining a reputation akin to Ubisoft: crappy attitudes, empty delays, and broken promises. Just ask them how much they care: Edited February 26, 2015 by DentureDynamite stcro1, Thalyn and mis009
wtd03
Can you guys even imagine another delay ? Yes.... We need to see how Heists affect the consoles. If the New Gen connection bugs seem to be cured, it should be okay. If not, then more delays could well be incoming. ffs it is not possible to delay it again just no i dont believe in it...How can they be so mean to us (pc gamers)?.. lol mean to us? they are like screw us because of those pirates. wtd03
When march 24 rolls around the game is either complete or it isn't. What can possible change in 3 weeks that even warrants another delay? you have to mass press and ship copies and that takes time. I guarantee there is another delay. In the life cycle of a project 3 weeks isn't much at all. They would be better off to release on the 24th and do a patch if any 3 weeks later on the 14th. AvailXV
I'd much rather keep waiting and getting a fully working product day 1 than to get a game on the day it was supposed to come out and I'm not able to play it; and wait for a patch to come out. I swear some of you rant on like there is nothing else to do in the world other than play video games. Except they had 8 f*cking years to "polish" since it was being developed alongside consoles. I can't believe you f*cking imbeciles still insist on riding cockstar.
Seeyiyay
I wonder if the Steam uproar has given Rockstar any doubts about the PC audience. There was even a guide on how to get refunds. Steam has given PC gaming a face and an identity, when it once was a relatively obscure platform, and Steam users can be counted on for buying games. Rockstar has always been a console first developer since GTA3, and every game was either exclusive or a timed console exclusive, with varying porting periods between every release. And none of them were good ports, ranging from broken time counters in Vice City to Midnight Club's 30FPS pedestrians to Bully's lack of KBM controls to IV's general sh*ttiness. Thanks, Sony! YukiEiri
To all my fellow PC GAMERS; I feel your pain. I was looking forward to playing GTAO with my friends and collegues who are not on consoles. We had our first GT>A evening booked for that Friday already but now we have to postpone that.. Or just play World of Tenks or WarThunder or something else. Well, that'll be fun too. Personally I won't be playing heists from March 10th since that is also the day when Cities: Skylines comes out and I'll be building cities! ^__^ And remember: "Good things come to those who wait. MisterEd
There has to be a known lead time between a when decision is made to release the game and when it is available. For example suppose it is two weeks. Then Rockstar has to make a decsion one way or another two weeks before the actual announced release date. I bet if we don't hear of a delay by April 1 then it will come out on April 14.
Rizaki Koizumi
Like the people here, I'm pissed too that Rockstar delayed GTA V again. I will say though that I'd like for them to finish the game with as little amount of bugs as there can be on PC. I don't wanna play a Rockstar version of Assassin's Creed Unity, so to say. If there are major game-breaking bugs that kill the experience, Dan and Sam Houser better shield themselves as PC gamers are gonna want their heads if GTA V comes out as a buggy mess on PC. In other words, save your rage for if the game comes out with it in the same state GTA IV was when it released on PC. Be patient, and lets hope for the best. I know I will. Look at what they've been doing to the PC community for almost a year straight, 4 lies in a row ..The difference here is : the Jan to March delay was two weeks out from the launch, so the original statement was correct! This delay has been announced four weeks out and since it is only three weeks, it really does suggest it wasn't a planned delay this time.... Heists releasing later than planned and the New-Gen connection issues do seem to have some contribution, so it is a technical issue causing the delay. Something that damns them no matter what, since people cry for further delays or cry if it releases broken....
SpooferJahk
Sad thing is that I am actually okay with this... to an extent, it is ridiculous that Rockstar has delayed this so many times after giving actual dates for the game's release. Though I am part of the camp that says that if they are taking time to make sure the game is optimized, I am okay with it. That sounds horrible but considering how a lot of AAA developers are releasing really horrible ports of their games (here's to you Ubisoft!), Rockstar actually taking time to release their PC version of V to actually work is a freaking godsend in comparison. Geeteeaifive
AMD or nvidia must have gotten to rockstar because a lot of people including me we're planning on buying latest amd or nvidia gpu before gta v comes out on pc. So this delay is not an issue for me or those people because we can wait. what the f--- are you talking about? Yes gta5 was delayed so you could have more time to buy a gtx980. Logic. No that's my backup plan. if 390x doesn't come out til april 14th ill go with 980. EZ. For all i care they can delay gta v til 390x comes out.
