Heists coming March 10th

Yeah - probably going to be a pre-release Newswire for this update, considering it's 'the Big One'. There's normally something with actual names of purchasable vehicles, weapons and whatnot - we've had screens teasing stuff, but nothing in writing yet actually listing the Lectro, Casco, flare gun, etc. (or whatever's not just heist-specific gear).

Hopefully tomorrow, what with it being a week to the day an' all, but I'd be really surprised if we just had *crickets* until the 10th itself.

Flare gun and thermite bomb were in the screens released by Fun about a week ago. Pretty sure that's confirmed to be coming.

they'll probably do both. Was looking back at the Business Update and they had an announcement a week before, then another one the day it was released. With heists there's a lot more unknown stuff so i think they have to lay it all down (or they should). Things like what happens if someone disconnects, etc. which I would rather not find out while doing a heist, especially if I'm leader considering I invested money into it.

^ Not what I meant - likewise, the Lectro's front-and-centre in one of the new screenshots. But I'm talking about R* actually listing things we'll be getting - they normally do that close to the release date of an update, and we've yet to have a Newswire post that actually names names, so logically, that post is yet to come.

I am very much looking forward to the flare gun. It will be awesome to allow my friends to pinpoint my location while in a chopper. I know they already know where I am by looking on the map, but I like the aesthetics of it.

Likewise, someone coughing and choking to death shows up as a flashing sonar blip on the radar!

I'd assume that one person just picks up a bit more work?

I have two that I play with, but they're all different timezones, so not really.

 

You have no idea how depressing it is, being a strictly-coop player with nobody to play with since twenty-f*cking-eleven.

i will not smoke until the 10th so i can play heist faded as f*ck, cant wait.

Make sure to play with randoms. That way you won't have to answer for dying in 3 seconds.

 

i play better when high or drunk so.. some of us can handle our buzz.

A Newswire Post makes sense to me to generate even more Interest in the Heists Update. Along the lines of:

 

Introducing Vehicle X,Y & Z (with some tongue in cheek statement), New Clothing, New Weapons, X Heists and so on and so forth and of course ending with "plus plenty more to discover when Online Heists Release on 10th March for PS3,PS4, Xbox 360 & Xbox One."

 

More than anything with so many Delays, it would be a good idea to reconfirm/reaffirm that Online Heists are Releasing on 10th March.
