Heists coming March 10th

R* did say only 20 hours. Each Heist will avg about 1 hour of gameplay. There are 4 positions in each Heist. There are 5 total Heists. 4*5=20, that is where they get 20 hours.

 

It sounds like other update/fixes will drop with Heists. I'm guessing/hoping some of the issues we have seen lately will be addressed and it was easier to incorporate them with this release than release them and try to make them work with the Heist update later. Basically to avoid the problem of having to remove stuff later like they did by removing contact missions that were affected by the update.

Have R* even mentioned an unarmoured Kuruma, or is everyone just making assumptions again?

The only hint we have is Kuruma and Kuruma2 in the coding. I believe there was also a 'KURARM' reference as well.

 

If the Kuruma is not armored I doubt I will be purchasing it.

Likelihood is, you won't be purchasing the armored version regardless, as I doubt R* will make it freely available outside heist missions. I'd love to be wrong, though. Edited March 2, 2015 by gorskiegangsta

Yeah, I am hoping they do a week long Heist features thing. Like post today, tomorrow, and friday.

 

Probably won't happen though. I wouldn't mind a Snapmatic post either I guess.

My xbox is set to insta start up so does anyone know if the game will download the heist update without me while im at college at 11am? I wont be there to initialize it

I'm gonna say no on that. It's more than likely going to be a marketplace DLC update, and not a title update.

Every dlc has downloaded without me there for my bone

 

 

Im I the only one who really wants to play heist with friends for the fun, and could care less how much I make? O.o.

 

Also since there are 4 jobs for each heist and each one is different so thats 4 times every heist, which means the total 20 hours of new experiences can now be multiplied by 4.

 

Thats up to 80 hours of new game experiences in heist! I cant wait to play every role!

Hope your not serious. Do you really think 4 heists equal 80 hours? Thats what it sounds like you said... and what did you mean jobs? Getting required heist preparation stuff doesnt take a hour so and heist shouldnt take 5 hours each as what the article or w.e said thats unrealistic time for a heist.

We're finally getting heist, they'll be releasing PC soon and Bahama Mama's hasn't had anything done with it yet. Add single player dlc and the fact that most of the map is unused, VineWood Bowl and horse track, and that they'll want PC to get fully settled in, we will not be getting a map extension for a while. (There is a minoscule possibility that the aircraft carrier and yacht will be available in free roam. I would call that a map extension)
