Just took a look again (this time on PC, not the phone) It does look like the elevator is in the background, you can see a fence around it (and the one on the left side is down like on the recent screenshot). So now... I doubt it's taking off from the elevator. But I believe it was standing on the opposite site when a player entered it in the trailer

 

 

 

It looks like the Hydra was just in that position before taking off,it does rotate while taking off,look at the last edit for this: http://gtaforums.com/topic/765757-hydra-machine-guns/Nah, pause the trailer right at 1:50. You can see the Island of the carrier on the opposite site and a Lazer taking off, meaning that the hydra has to be on the left side. Not sure if anyone else noticed this but when I was rewatching the Heist trailer earlier I noticed somethnig that nobody mentioned yet. On the APV with the mounted gun(without it aswell probably) you can hang from the sides like on a Garanger/Riot truck.

You can see it in the scene where the Hind is shown.

Guess I'm going to have to join a serious crew. Wouldn't make sense trying to expand my crew with "Texas Hill Country" in the name. So, any patient, planning type people in a crew that doesn't require using a mic? I'm a strategical thinker, not one of the rush into a firefight like my hair's in fire so I can get turned into Swiss cheese and blame my teammate for sittin back and sniping to take down the enemy numbers first type. Lol. Hoping to find the same.

I would add that I have a good crew color if you like orange. It's almost like sunrise orange, only a little brighter, which makes it look better. It's actually more "hemi orange" which is what I was going for. Also a cool simple star logo with crossed pistols in it. Texas Hill Country Regulators. I don't expect much interest because of the local name though.

 

I have a crew you can join if you're interested.. It's just three of us, were all close friends but we could use another player to fill out a heist team. We do free roam fighting, missions, & survivals. We use mics but you don't have to if you don't want to, that's perfectly fine. We know what we're doing, I'll just say that. If you're a chilled, laid back guy who's decent at the game, you're welcome. We're on PS4, my PSN is the same as my name.

 

edit: I'd also like to point out, you don't actually have to join the crew. We can just play together to do the heists.

Well, sounds good to me. I guess can call myself decent, been playing the game for over a year. Rank 465, mainly because this is the only game I play, and I've never wasted much time in free mode. All I've ever done is missions, and in pretty much every way possible.

 

Yeah and my wife took my mic, kind of permanently I think. Lol. When I play with people using mics I usually just send short msgs and listen to them. Works out ok if you're not in a raging hurry, like a lot of ppl seem to be. Lol

I honestly kinda wish there wasn't an announcement for the release date. Now that we know when it's coming it's like time is going by slower.
