it seems Rockstar has come well prepared for heists to come out. All of the money glitches I've been trying lately are hot fixed, and it's pretty clear I'm not going to be able to afford half of the sh*t in the heists update.

On serious note, those investors keep feeding Rockstar. Seeing the statistic of GTA Online, investors will have confidence in keep putting money on Rockstar to develop GTA:O. Seeing the statistic of hype after the Tuesday announcement, investor will be even more happy.

 

Secondly, ever think in reverse-logic? This is where you call it as 'conspiracy theory' because it sounds negative to you. But what makes you think that Rockstar won't do a profitable strategy for everyone on their end? Maybe in their plan, PC release was never meant to be January. PR from different companies plays their part here. They make the delay so it will go like what LukeMayhem said, and if they did, that means they've succeeded the plan.

 

Yeah, it sounds negative. It sounds as if they are cunning and it becomes 'conspiracy theory' to you. But how are you so sure that they, as a huge firm with great portfolio, have 0% possibility to do that? Is it because they're your beloved Rockstar and not government or any other jerkoff companies that's been busted for being cunning?

 

You know what? When they say something, don't just swallow it and think as positive as possible. Think neutral and see if their action reflects their sayings. You believe when Rockstar said they don't want to separate their fanbase by turning updates into Paid DLC? What happen to the CE owners then? Are they separated from us? No. Can Paid DLC content works like CE content? Yes. There you go. One example of bullsh*t, yet people eat it.

So there's a talk about how Heist would work if someone's dead which been quite a confusing discussion to some,

 

but then I remember there's this guy called Jeff which was leaked and said he can revive players.

 

So I think, there'll be infinite life in Heist because of this Jeff, but the killed player/friendly killer must be responsible for the revival bill.

 

 

That's one question down. But, what about disconnection from the session?

 

Like in TDM or other matches which got minimum players to play, the session would end once the number of player is below the standard.

I mainly play alone anyhow so no use to me. Since I've only ever play FR and have played only a handful of missions since launch. I doubt I'll ever go as far as playing a heist. Keep them R*, I doubt they'll be worth half the wait time we've had anyway.

Really don't get the panic that has been posted in this thread about needing to grind for $$$, or not having $$$ when Heists are out. If the payouts are even a fraction of what you got in SP, then $$$ shouldn't be a problem at all. It's almost as if everyone thinks you have to plunk down like $20K just to play a Hiest mission.

Looks like at least the host is gonna plop down a few hundred K, and R* will keep the payouts at about 100K per hour. That seems to be their standard now.

 

I'm looking forward to some new cars and maybe some new properties. SP2MP glitch would be nice...

I think we will. If you watch the heist trailer, it looks like the hydra is sitting on an elevator.

 

Someone probably needs to get in the hydra and another person has to take control of the flight deck and raise the platform.

It is really neat to go on YouTube and look at carrier operations videos, that would explain what I mean more.
