I read this thread and discord before posting my TRUE statement. Every time, you or other developers write "soon". Obviously, it's trolling. You had to write "not soon/don't wait/when it's done", then it would be true. Also you, developers, have spent too much time doing your website instead of doing your mod and yet you write "soon", not even doing the mod. This forum section is for making mods, not for creating websites.

Let's all rejoice in the fact that 3.4 is nearly complete! Is storymode support still planned for the release?

Yeah I agree, that would be neat. I'm pretty sure you can transfer your already existing server from SAMP to their engine OR make your own server on their engine.

Yo, if its possible, can you ensure users cannot use cleo mods or certain .asi files to prevent people from cheating and using hacks on servers, similar to multi theft auto to create a better multiplayer experience?

 

 

One last question: How is the launcher going?

Hello everybody!
By the way, about useful and legal, safe scripts -
I got a couple of cool cleo scripts!
With their help, you can add any passer-by in the game to the player's group (gang), and give them absolutely any weapon that is in the player's hands, including sniper rifles, grenade launchers and all other weapons.
Instructions for use:
Unpack the archive with the mod, and copy both scripts from the archive to the cleo folder.
Installation completed.
To use these opportunities in the game, you need to go up to any passer-by and press G - this is in order to hire him to your group. Then, in order to give any character absolutely any weapon that is in your hands, you need to go up to any character and press L.
Disadvantages of the mod:
No specific bugs or glitches were found.
But sometimes, quite rarely, if there are many members in your gang, the game crashes.
Also, characters sometimes lose weapons from their hands.
But all these problems are very rare.
This mod is for GTA San Andreas and is also compatible with GTA Underground.

Dude, game engine is always the same, Renderware. Its a modification for SA, so it run on SA engine which is Renderware

 

For Map Editors, they dont use like MEd or that sorts. They modelled the maps in 3ds Max then import it into the game. If you wanted to create a custom map for your game, i suggests learn modelling in 3ds Max.

We use 3ds max, actually. I wouldn't ever want to use MEd. We also have a modified version of The_Hero's in-game map viewer which is far better, based on reversed game code, and has very accurate rendering. We use that to find bugs. As for the engine, it's the same as GTA:SA (RW 3.6.0.3).

one question about territories? I have 240 and in the stats it show that the russian have 1, but I can't find it!!!it seems that the highest bulding in the los santos is the last one!! possible?...and how to take over I just try so many times.....

We've been working hard on the launcher for the past few days, and so far this is what we have - we've made all server tabs functional (that-is, get them to load in actual server data), and finished user authentication. User authentication in this case means the ability to log in using your gtaundergroundmod.com account.

In order to complete the launcher we still need to implement querying so server rules and players are displayed as well, and a host of other minor things. As said, these servers you see are currently whitelisted.
