    • Yes, it should return and we should continue working on how it was before it was removed.

I really hope you put these beta missions into GTA: Underground. Furthermore, the two Snapshot 2.2 missions should also be added to the game. Those two missions could be the introductory mission when the player travels to Vice City. Thost two missions will be available after completing Saint Mark's Bistro or End of the Line.

 

 
 

 

Only a few leftovers remain in the files for some of these so making a 100% accurate replica is not possible.

u dont need saac 2 or anything...u need 2 controller...and u need to change the coordinates only

one question, on online server mode, will we have a option to turn off the speed effect? i believe many people would support an option for either being on or off.

well i usually control 2 players on the keyboard just to play around all the years when i load all the custom skins for 2-player to play as since 3.3 but 3.3.10 or higher, I can't control player 2 which means i be too bored to roam without player 2 it's a bummer why this happen. DK never reply to me but disabling features. I would feel like jumping into V2SAxIVxSA and play 2-player here instead. AND make missions or something. Liberty City and San Andreas from Next-gen is way better than GTA3 generations

A new video will be public on Monday showing a low rider or a street racer. Maladoy made some vehicle progress recently which was added to the mod. Still not sure when the promised weapon syncing video will be up...

 

The other change Maladoy made was SA styling the VC Stallion. A convertible variant is now used in VC, while the current hard top one is used in LC, which lacked a SA styled stallion altogether. This was really just a mixup back when I originally added the hard top version.

What's the point of having two different, same looking, Stallions while the SA one fits perfectly for both cities? I'd rather modify the stock SA Stallion (second car color to the roof extra, paintjob support, etc... etc...) instead and use it for both cities.

yes. loads of bloat. same with guns and many more vehicles.

We have the following reasons:

  • There are subtle differences which would otherwise be overlooked which are currently preserved. In some cases some liberty is taken to make them more unique as compensation for the fact that they indeed are rather similar and could be seen as 'clones'.
    • I personally feel that the discussion stems from the fact that people don't consider two vehicles as 'duplicates' if they look different enough, as can be seen with the GTA: VC Banshee and the GTA: SA version. They might share the same name, but look completely different. 
  • The vehicles do indeed use IDs and technically are considered as 'different' vehicles (although their name is the same and the models are roughly the same as well). We already have enough on our plates and this has been the case for quite some time now.

The issue may be properly solved in then ear future, who knows. By the looks of it, it probably won't be anytime soon.

Please dkluin, put the Statue of Liberty back into the GTA: Underground in the next update! The Statue of Liberty was in the game in the past, please put it back! It is not difficult to put it back because it was ready before. This can be considered a kind of map expansion. :)

Some questions:

 

1. In version 3.3.11 I saw that:

When I use this skin selector:

https://www.gtaall.com/gta-san-andreas/cleo/4876-skin-selector-v21.html

on 3.3.10 and save the game, the changed skin normally saves (if there are no cs*.sav in CLEO/CLEO_SAVES)

and automatically switches CJ to that skin after loading the savegame (just like using that script on regular GTASA)

 

But on 3.3.11 I always need to switch from CJ manually.

 

 

CUSTOM_MODS.img

When I edit it with IMG Factory, everything's normal.

But when I use Crazy IMG Editor, the game does not load the modded models.

 

Why so?

It exists in the game files but has to be enabled by editing the gta.dat file.

1. Not sure really. 3.3.11, 3.3.10, and especially 3.3.9 make a lot of changes to the code which could render quite a lot of mods incompatible. We've fixed some of the issues already, however your problem could be one of these compability issues.

2. I don't know. Any IMG editor should be able to work just fine. Perhaps the problem is tied to the models themselves?

Wait, What?! Does really exist a Statue of Liberty in GTA 3? 

is this part of Underground or another mod?

Working on a complete design for the upcoming UG-MP launcher. As you can see (and might have noticed when I posted the original UG website screenshots), whitelisted/official servers both come with the exclusive ability to upload a server logo.

There aren’t missions in GTA Underground, however they are gonna add a storyline mode which enables mission

The Statue of Liberty is part of GTA: Underground. :)

Please add the Statue of Liberty to the game then (to the GTA: Underground and to the GTA: UG-MP). There will probably be no map expansion for the game in the long time, so at least add the Statue of Liberty to the game. It is not too much work to do as you are ready with, you just have to add it to the mod. Please, at least do this if there is no map expansion for a while. :)

hey there, months ago I asked if there was any way to save the game progress without making the game crash when trying to load the save game , back then it seems that there wasn't any fix since nobody gave me a solid answer , so now that time has passed Im gonna ask again , is there any way to save the game? it's been a while since the last update came out so there should be a fix now

Saving always worked. Saves from older versions cannot be loaded on newer versions though.

While me and LosTigeros are working on UG-MP, The_Truth, TheBlackLion and others are working on VC and LC. They fixed a lot of (reported) bugs so far and are continuing to do so. Here are some screenshots:

 

Removed the "inside non interior version" of the Downtown Vice City Pizza Stack. As a result, the entering cutscene now shows a black box instead of a part of the interior itself.

Got pretty far in patching the lagshot/bullet sync feature SA-MP has. We still need to fix afew issues though. Plus, in the streams we mentioned that drive by animations weren't working at that time. This is fixed now too.

Patched the SA-MP code on the server which returns a weapon name by its ID. It is used by the GetWeaponName native, so now you can obtain the name of all UG weapons through said native.

Patched the SA-MP death reasoning code so deaths caused by UG weapons are considered as a valid reason for a player to die from. Some code was added so the server sends a chat message whenever a player dies, with the cause of death in it as well.

Also added synchronization for the laser dot corona. This means the red dot will show up for other players while you are using one of the laser rifles in the mod.

As the author said, saves do not work across releases. If you want to save then don't update the mod. Pick a version you are comfortable with and stay with it.

For me it is 3.3.2. It still has some bugs, but the main cities are complete and the game is relatively stable there. Starting with 3.3.3 the devs have been largely concentrating on adding multiplayer content and features that have little effect on the singleplayer sandbox experience.

I'd stick to 3.3.11 for the time being as it is the most recent version. Not sure if it is as stable as 3.3.2 though given the amount of patches introduced as of 3.3.9.

A new video showing the BlackLine ST street racer. This will be one of the last custom vehicles which were made before the focus shifted to reported vehicle bugs. There is another video coming up next week about the Bullworth Stallion though.
