Don't you mean the 3.0 Snapshot?

 

This isn't Beta 3.0. or the final version as of yet.

Hey guys! I just recently installed GTA Underground because now I got my Hands on a full original uncut 1.0. The last time I tried it with my downgraded 2.0 it had errors after selecting New Game. But now I have another problem. When I press the Continue button to start the game, it immediately closes. I don't know why. I don't even get an error message and it's seems like the log file can also not track what's happening there. Anyone has any idea?

Try to navigate to the folder where you installed the mod, and see if fastman92limitAdjuster.log exists. If so, you should firstly make the game crash again, and then upload the log file on pastebin.

I found the fix by myself. I had to remove the GTA Underground User Files folder because it was still there from my last try. But now I'm back on my old Problem. The game freezes in the loading screen. It loads a bit and then the loading screen is not switching anymore and the bar is stuck.

 

EDIT: I just try to post my .log on pastebin because now the log tracked the crash

I'm on Win 7 Home Premium 64bit. I've uploaded the .log on pastebin with the same username I have here. I don't actually know how pastebin works, just wanted to mention that username thing. Accidentally uploaded it as a guest before, just saying.


EDIT: Oh my god, now because you asked about my Windows Version... I had compatibility mode still enabled on Win XP (always had that on san andreas to fix the mouse not working). Now I disabled it and the game started! Thank you anyway for trying to help me run the game. But It was just my stupidness that blocked the game ^^

Interesting, I'm glad it works now. If you want the mouse to be fixed you should use SilentPatch.

Classic HUD is confirmed to have compability problems. The problems observed aren't really crashes, as the mod will work fine with GTA: Underground. The only problems I ran into was that weapon IDs need to be patched, and that the files need to be updated. Since the mod itself is shipped with different styles from other 3D era games, I asked Yhdf and other artists to work on that. So far Yhdf has already done some work.

 

I also confirmed that ModLoader is still incompatible with enhanced IMG archives enabled, and it is also incompatible with the new handling limits, and it doesn't support FLA's option to load in more tracks.dat files with any name. I will resolve more issues once I find them and hopefully get it to work soon.

So it fix with original san andreas so the mouse don't have to lock in the game and hide the mouse prevent stretching before it will mess up the game and crash while I make a cleo mission.

Seriously, I think it's too early to start thinking about a port to another game. If I had to decide which game would recieve an UG port, it may be GTA: IV. However, no GTAV port, you can guess why. Why GTA:IV? Because at this point the possibility is there, however the amount of work to get it going would simply be too much while the project is barely finished.

modding in GTA V is banned, does that mean its banned in GTA SA too? Will you stop doing this? I was looking forward to play this mod but now I'm concerned about it :(

R* and T2 shouldn't really care, they are "concearned" about cheating in GTA Online, so a San Andreas mod doesn't have anything to do with it

You could increase the bully radar map a bit, because the streets of the radar map in the bully are bigger doq in the radar map of the underground

Problem is that the radar maps simply aren't in a high enough quality for that to become a reality. However, SprunkieMonkey did actually make an improved Bully radar map.

Fixed a bug where some CLEO scripts won't work in UG because they use opcodes which weren't yet patched, creating problems like the problem where CLEO teleport to marker mods don't work.

I might finish Classic HUD's compability patches and record a video. Some other videos may become available as well, maybe even from SWEGTA.

 

WilsonPlays is doing a livestream on Snapshot 3. Be sure to give it a go, we might cover several things, maybe some SAMP footage, who knows.
