SAMP development news:

 

We started working on a server plugin which will be used to patch the server to allow the things we need.

 

Still no progress on the launcher/installer, or the website, but I am setting up a testing environment, like I said. This will only make the mod more stable.

Spartan_112 redid the Countcash, which is a BETA version of the VC Infernus.

And, he also did several improvements and changes to the VC Cheetah, and the VCPD Cheetah.

The front in the VC Cheetah is really "meh".

The boots could be a little bit edited. The heel looks a bit odd. Other than that, good job!

I re-introduced several features like the radio stations script and gangs in added cities, as the systems responsible for that needed to be redone, but this never got finished so as a temporary solution we set it up like it was in Snapshot 2.2. Trails will still work normally, and radio stations like Bullworth Rock Radio are also there. One last note, I also re-introduced garages, as I stated that I would try to get rid of GRGX, but again, I re-introduced it through a seperate DLL file for now, which Underground_Core loads. About the bug fixes I made to the radio stations script, these will be available as well.

 

I'm also adding more error messages, and as some of you may have seen, the website is not working right. I'll also need to update it and get it ready, so we can re-use the old bug tracker and website untill the new website with the new features are completed. I may also revert some layout changes I made which look bad, so yeah.

 

Long story short, I'm doing these changes for an upcoming release, as I don't want to leave out any unfinished features.

 

I still need to take out the unfinished Phil's Fully Cocked shop (not the LCS one, but the III one) and businesses in Liberty City, which will all be re-enabled when these features are completed. Again, I don't want to leave anything unfinished in this release, and so I'll mostly cut these unfinished features out of the game for now, or revert them to their Snapshot 2.2 variants, possibly with Snapshot 3 changes.

Great work guys. I just wanna ask, Cholos and Haitians have Little Haiti as they turf(Cholos in VCS, and Haitians in VC), how they will spawn in GTA Underground if you decide to put them together in Vice City?

Why not the cities of Midnight Club 1 or 2? And If you work in the SAMP support I suppose you will put the maps of the multiplayer of the GTA 3, right?

Great work guys. I just wanna ask, Cholos and Haitians have Little Haiti as they turf(Cholos in VCS, and Haitians in VC), how they will spawn in GTA Underground if you decide to put them together in Vice City?

The Cholos and Haitians share Little Haiti, but their turfs don't overlap.

I heard in GTA Underground's Earlier Versions does have Statue of Liberty, where is it now??

Did statue of liberty aka happiness exist in GTA 3? If not then maybe it would have been scrapped as Underground unites only 3d era maps and not from the HD era.

Yes, you can. If you want both patches, then you should install both. The unofficial patch doesn't include the 2.2.0.1 changes, iirc.

@Danny The multiplayer GTA 3 maps would be really interesting for gamemodes!

Strange, maybe you installed it incorrectly. Did you place the DYOM files in the appropiate directories? I think they have to be placed in the GTA San Andreas User Files directory (correct me if I'm wrong), if this is the case, you should place them in the GTA Underground User Files directory.

A quick question: there is a huge load of awesome cars that are not found anywhere in the world and can only be obtained with a spawner. Will they be used later anywhere? Would be sad to see them cut...

Guys i've noticed that you posted download links for converted peds... Why not also make download links for UG Vehicles?
