First off I wanna say, great mod. I've been following for a bit.

 

Anyway I know some people have suggested adding more to the map to make it run more east-west than north-south. I figured why not make like a southwestern state in the style of san andreas in a way that it combines real life states into a smaller one. Like maybe a desert state that's a Texas/Arizona hybrid with two, maybe three cities. If you want, I even made a crude map of Firebird (Phoenix parody) that you could use if you like.

I wonder how hard it is to make interiors in the same world as the exterior map. Like, editing the building to make the interior inside it, rather than be teleported to another virtual world.

This would be nice for places like Pizza Stack, King Knuts, even the Diaz mansion (from VCS you have windows in which you can see the exterior map outside and the same thing for Forbes' and Louise's apartments).

 

Imagine if we had the interiors in the same world as the exterior, with windows so people could checkout the sights. VCS tried to implement this in some buildings and it worked. You also have an example from VC near the mainland's VCPD.

In theory it would be somewhat easy, yes, but easy is not a synonym for good. Open buildings like police garages or certain country locations tend to have problems with weather conditions different than regular sunny days. Just find one and see how they look during a storm, or fog. Modeling a building is one, but making sure it'd look the same in different conditions and times of day is completely different, and would require lots of time and work. Also, I can imagine interiors placed on the world map could impact game's overall performance, especially on weaker PCs.

And last but not least, SA has the most interiors out of all III era GTA games, so isn't it easier to keep them and add missing ones from other games instead of spending hours upon hours to place everything on map, just to realize it doesn't look good?

But this is defenetly not SA style. I personly think that interior and exterior world should stay divided. But if you want that ugly mixed interior exterior stuff, youl be hepier with LCxVCXSA mod.

I'd love to create a custom radio station for one of the cities!!. I mix music professionally and can create a logo for the station as well. How do I go about getting my station on the mod?

The plans described are planned features for Snapshot 3 which are planned down - which means they are pretty big features and so having an explanation on how exactly we want to implement them is needed.

Bullworth gameplay elements

Here's the final concept on how the gameplay mechanics around Bullworth would work. It seems like most people want me to add the "wanted level when hitting children" concept, so that's what we're going with.

 

The concept describes how we could still implement this feature with still giving the player the choice to kill them or not.

 

 

 

Trespassing feature

 

 

Some area's in Bullworth are not meant to be visited. Like in Bully, you get a wanted level when you are trespassing.

 

Now, onto the trespassing. The following list of area's in Bullworth are most likely going to be counted as "private property":

 

The Academy and interiors

The Asylum and interior

The Chemical Power Plant and interior

When entering one of these area's, the player will simply recieve a two star wanted level and is informed (only once, it will not show the message again, like how Rockstar handles informative messaging) that they can't enter certain area's.

 

You can prevent getting a wanted level by simply wearing a prefect uniform inside school grounds (not an asylum uniform) and an asylum uniform (not a prefect uniform) inside the asylum. The Chemical Power Plant simply won't have any way to prevent the player from getting a wanted level.

 

 

Children mechanic

 

 

The concept pretty much remains the same, however I'd make it so the player gets a 4 star wanted level for killing children in any means (running them over also counts), just like how Bully had a feature where hitting a girl would give the player a high wanted level.

 

Result of killing them

Ofcourse, getting SWAT sent after you for murdering children seems unrealistic, but this is GTA, and it will serve as a good way to add children without too much problems.

 

Turf wars

Taking over Bully's clicques is not going to be possible though. This is because I don't want to force people to progress through killing them. They will be given the option to kill them or not.

 

Spawn rate

The spawn rate would be lowered if possible to make children a bit more rare. So people wouldn't get a 4 star wanted level for running over a child by accident often.

 

 

Another concept tied to adding the curfew Bully featured, which will add a realistic touch to Bullworth.

 

 

Bully uses a curfew so we'd have to make a zone based popcycle.dat solution untill we get to add entirely new popcycle zones.

 

This means that children wouldn't be seen at night, but however you can spot them at daytime.

 

It will serve as a realistic touch so it would still feel a bit like the original Bully.

Since Snapshot 3 didn't really got started on, and there's no clear list which has the planned content for Snapshot 3, here's one.

Zone based law enforcement (done)

Completed vehicle special features hack (done, WIP)

Ability to define new game statistics, such as weapon skills (WIP)

Zone type 4 - weather.zon, used to define weather islands which have internal weather arrays, island ID parameter represents weather zone ID (done)

Zone type 5 - forbidden.zon, used to define zones which will give the player a 2 star wanted level when entering them, island ID parameter represents interior ID, it will only give a wanted level if the interior ID is the same

Children mechanics for Bullworth

Saving functions patched (WIP)

Map legend shows all other blips (done)

Implement Bully collectibles and give them statistic values (requires the ability to add new statistics to be done)

Implement Hidden Packages and their original rewards and make them city based (requires the ability to add new statistics to be done)

Find out how the stat menu works and make it display added statistics so players can view custom statistics

Hey, when i load a savegame everything resets and puts you back in Grove St. Can you fix this?

BTW, the game randomly crashes when i'm in Bullworth

lol I said that as well months ago now, that the rear of the interior version of saint mark's bistro should made to be in the game world I did say other people would want the things I suggested but some people just don't listen and have to know better but nvm, people like dkluin will never learn and keep ignoring people lol
