Updated polls again, the other two ones were removed. The vehicle feature loader option is added to the todo list, aswell as the forbidden.zon stuff, and other stuff. The crashlog system is staying on there.

 

The question now though, is if you guys want me to change Saint Marks Bistro again, and make some changes. Feel free to post some ideas. Or, should I even continue the savegame conversion option? Is it needed?

 

Also, are you guys interested in the upcoming script features which are going to be done once I finish the zone stuff, which refers to the updated gang color map, revealed zones, game saving/loading with conversion, and ofcourse, a few extra zone types.

Mod itself isn't completed yet. You are still working on the main scripts. At the end of completing the mod then to do the save conversation then. For now, my opinion it's not needed instead focus on other stuffs .

Like San Vice mod, you can add Saints Marks Bistro room in the VC hotel interior. And GTA SA's version at the liberty city. Make both of them. Edit: And make a wardrobe like interior where when inside the Saints Marks Bistro I will go to a enex marker which is VC one's cutscene room will be located at the same location as the VC Hotel interior.

An optional suggestion. Will you please remove the dirty pic of Candy Suxx in GTA VC mansion? No? Come on, man.

So first of all in my opinion savegame conversion thing is unnecessary right now, I mean yeah some players like to build their own empire with gang conquered and other stuffs but I think most of us want to explore new things you guys would release in in the feature versions
Second Saint Marks Bistro interior should have 2 floors(first/top floor from VC and second/bottom one from SA) and should be considered a business since is a restaurant.

Also great work on converting interiors and nice video

Is that interior customized or it's from pre-made in Vice City?

How about what I said that Saint Marks Bistro? It will be located in Liberty city. Inside the interior there will be wardrobe like enex that'll take to VC Hotel interior universe and the room will be seen there.

In this case I'm considering updating the Saint Marks Bistro, and also considering to make it a business, since LC doesn't have businesses.

 

Since alot of people requested me to update it....

Working on VC Mall's Ammu-Nation shop, for some reason the interior is an exact copy of the Washington Beach interior, so I'll use the interior from there. After I complete this interior, I'll do the recording studio interior and make it accessable with a few modifications (it needs a staircase...), just so it makes sense logical wise.

I have an installer and I do not know how it is still used, I do not know which gta sa is installed and for which version it is installed, ie if it is for the original gta, gta already modified with the mod los underground or that version of los underground It works with the installer, because it tells me that I have problems with files within the path that I want to install.


The installer that I downloaded is called: GTASA_12-9-14_Steam_to_V1_DG, I downloaded it here in the forum that is the only way I can run without closing the gta with the underground mod, but I still do not know how it works because that is what I must install it


Do you need gta sa rip or full to do the installation and prevent it from continuing with the problem of incompatible files within the installation path? Or can it be installed with any gta sa either rip or full?


Last question the lowercase letters that appear to me in the error message are where I have the compatibility problem with my gta sa?:

C: / USERS / IVAN / DESKTOP / ONLY MY FILES / SA GTA SOLS UNDERGROUND / NEW

INSTALLER / UNDER / audio / streams / CUTSCENE: unknown version.


I downloaded the full audio from the streams folder, which are the radios no longer appeared error in the path with those files, but appeared error with other files:

C: / USERS / IVAN / DESKTOP / ONLY MY FILES / SA GTA SOLS UNDERGROUND / NEW

INSTALLER / under / data/ script/ main.scm: unknown version

Updated VC's seabed - it was slightly misplaced. Also introduced VC's original static shadows, as LC has them, but VC hasn't. To finish VC, I'm also going to fix smaller errors which aren't very time consuming to fix, since I need something for a video. Not to forget, I'll make the seabed solid too.

 

But why?

Fixing things like this perfectly fits within the goal of Snapshot 3, which is to finalize and polish/finish the mod, but also to improve, add, and if needed, remove features aswell.

The problem is, gta3.img is emptied in GTA UG. You should make a new GTASA steam install, downgrade it, and throw UG's files in there once completed. That might work.

That means that I must first download the gta sa with the version of steam, once it is downloaded and installed, then i add the mod los underground and from there i proceed to the installation of version 1.0?


Can it work with any version of gta UG?, either with 2.1 or 2.2? , Will it always run and can I install version 1.0?


Which channel video should I access to solve my problem? regards! ;)


The GTA SA version of steam is the full version?

While we're at grammar, I want to say it reaaally pisses me off when dkluin writes appriceate instead of appreciate, especially after I pointed it out once or twice in this topic. But oh well. Guess I shouldn't pay alot of attention to it.

Going to quickly finish a few missing VC interiors which were on the todo list for quite a while, so a video can be recorded and posted tommorow.

 

Interior list to do today:

  • VC Printworks interior which must become enterable after purchasing the interior, also needs some fixing so it's like the PS2 version
  • VC Mall Ammu-Nation, and a few other mall updates
  • VC Recording studio interior, also accessable

If I have time left:

  • Continue working on the main scripting stuff

I like how the map is going to blow away the size of all GTA maps combined times 15, but..

 

 

Could you make it not be a huge land with every city in it? Maybe 2 or 3 large islands. 'Cause otherwise, what's the purpose of boats?

I think the plans that were showcased in the map that's now gone from the page, are just fine. People will use the Hydra to travel anyways, no need to change the original plans just to add more importance to boats.
