Yo UGDEVs, it might be a stupid question to ask. After making the whole map of UG or completing the mod, will you guys gonna port UG to Unity3d. I said that because GTASA/Renderware engine has huge limitation of Graphics/3D Models/Physics and many issues. They made their own engine to release future games. I'm saying are you guys gonna make UG on Unity3d.

I don't think. Maybe yes. But in unity3d engine, you can do pretty much everything. They already have 3d model sources for the map. Still there is no such good importer/exporter for 3ds max where 3ds max is very user-friendly for unity. There is a guy who was trying to port GTA:SA to Unity. He has done pretty good in a video I saw... Completing the mod is pretty impossible to me because reverse engineering is not very easy and very much buggy the way it's in UG mod.

Sir when entering to any safehouse I got a blue screen in mafia beach club and someone start shooting me I can't see anyone and same to all buyed house

Is I reqd to download snapshot 2 as read on messsage one the screen when running game that is this us 10th patch of v2.1

Dkluin, do not you think that it would be good to implement this Andromeda?

With its own interior, I think it would be good to carry vehicles from one state to another.

In that case why Unity?

There is a project for VC with custom open-source engine build with reverse engineering method...

Anyway, i doubt UGDEV's gonna transfer to different engine.

At tops they gonna somehow change SA engine (which is already can be seen)...

+ As for as i know, you have to buy licence to have full access at unity, AND you cant actually modify engine itself, so youre limited to its capabilitys, so whats the point?

well the static planes are missing for dyom objects i know we have interior part of the plane but no exterior plane

 

edit: how long is Dkluin replaying to this topic? How will i edit .scm for dyom to added more health, car mass, and object because sanny builder doesn't work with .scm script

If UGDEV transfers to a different engine, it would be awesome.

Renderware Engine is very old engine. It's no longer being updated. It lacks many of it's quality like no/dummy shadow, Bad Physics, doesn't supports high poly, very old, .etc problem. Now R* is working their own engine RAGE game engine and they might keep working on that engine.

Why I said Unity engine because I know a few indie game developers and they have released few awesome games.

Modding is very hard very complicated and even if you release a mod a thousand number of bugs can be seen. Sometimes it's impossible to add certain features. Like a fully functional Skateboard(Which R* wanted to add but dropped due to engine limitation. If they make UG from a game engine they might get many possibilities that we can expect.

My point is building a TC mod is pretty impossible/not completed/abandoned. Due to coding skill/patching limitations/various reasons. Almost every mod is incomplete. Even SAMP is pretty much beta version. Reverse engineering is harder than coding normally. If they make a UG version of Unity/Other engine. They might able to get what they want. User-friendly multiplayer the thing everybody wants. Break many possibilities.

Sanny Builder can do that(maybe). If you mess around with memory addresses you can change them. But pretty buggy I think(Unless you have a good reverse engineering skill).

Andromeda with carrying car is mostly impossible. Sometimes you can carry cars but most probably it'll explode in the Air. That's why I think they should make SA type ported or make a UG standalone game instead. Because most of the TC mod has sad story.

Well i would like an original style but bigger andromeda with its own interior, or a new plane just like andromeda but larger (bad english :p) But thats good, hope dani will add an interior to an andromeda

I have a bug with snapshot 2.2 that I see no interior instead of that screen goes blue with map and exit yellow marker rotated to get out I get outside hpuse shop and club doesn't crash and I can see outside but again no interior what to do I have installed it on clean GTA sa 1.0

Going to quickly finish a few missing VC interiors which were on the todo list for quite a while, so a video can be recorded and posted tommorow.

 

Interior list to do today:

  • VC Printworks interior which must become enterable after purchasing the interior, also needs some fixing so it's like the PS2 version
  • VC Mall Ammu-Nation, and a few other mall updates
  • VC Recording studio interior, also accessable

If I have time left:

  • Continue working on the main scripting stuff

Hi all my friends of this forum, I hope they are very well, today I come to ask someone to upload a mod for the gta sa pc, I would really appreciate it, it is about uploading the Gta Sa Los Underground snapshot in version 1.0, Because if I download versions like 2.1 and 2.2 the game closes and gives me problems at the start time of game, please, i've time looking for that version and I never find it, I can not play if I do not go to version 1.0 :( , That message says the version 2.2, help me please. (, Greetings!;)

Considering Snapshot 3.0 isn't released yet, I can already tell it's gonna be a really huge update. For example, if a game takes 5 years to come out, (ahem, GTA 5) it's most likely going to be the best in its series.

Hi friends again I am here, I downloaded version 1.0 of gta los underground, I run the installer and look for the location of my gta sa, but when I want to install the version to the game I get a box or an error message saying the following:


This program can not update the installed version because of the following reason:


C: / USERS / IVAN / DESKTOP / ONLY MY FILES / SA GTA SOLS UNDERGROUND / NEW

INSTALLER / UNDER / audio / streams / CUTSCENE: unknown version.


please help! :(


Tell me how I use the installer, which is what I should install, to gta sa q comes by default or gta the underground in its high version ?, ie if I present error is because it is an installer that recognizes the gta los Underground in its different versions and is an intalador only to update the version of gta the underground already installed, the truth is that I do not know how to use it, help please! :(
