Here's what I want to implement shortly. It's something small, but still is a nice feature. An already done Phil ped from LCS will be used as the seller ped, and obviously, the LCS interior. An Ammu-Nation related menu will be used here, obviously. Some extra weapons will be converted from LCS and III which can be bought at this shop aswell.

 

Because some weapons are the same in VC/VCS/LCS/III, the already existing ones are chosen.

Including:

 

 

III Rocket Launcher

III Grenades

LCS AK47

III AK47

SA Minigun

SA Satchel Charges

Armour

VC M60

VCS Binoculars

SA Flamethrower

III M16

LCS Remote Grenade

VC Laser

I don't remember if it have been discussed but what about having more weapons

avaible in "......" don't remember what it's named but where you scroll to change weapons.

It would be a pretty great idea as there's way more weapons now then before.

Just a small suggestion.

 

And also, what happned with DYOM? Will it be a thing yet?

Maybe you haven't got the permission yet just though (to edit the code)

Custom ped sounds, car sounds, and weapon sounds are on the todo list. I'll make a full list of it inside a word document.

Improvements/fixes/additional stuff done to Ammu-Nation shops/hardware shops:

 

  • Liberty City Ammu-Nation shops were placed at the wrong place on the counter, some were even placed floating in the air
  • Binoculars and cleavers are now purchase-able at all hardware stores
  • III UZI and LCS Remote Grenades are now purchase-able at Liberty City Ammu-Nation shops
  • Some weapons were placed in the air when selected in Vice City Ammu-Nation shops

First I'm a big fan, your job is amazing.

 

Second i Really would like you guys to realease a "small version" of underground focusing only on San Andreas, Vice City and Liberty City.

I think the mod would be awesome already if you guys focus on the 3 maisn cities. we really looking forward to it.

 

BTW when I downloaed the last upload peds and vehicles from LC and VC were replaced with SA ones.

Also, I found a different method to do the vehicle feature patches, and still keep the same file formats I specified earlier. I'll work on the vehicle special feature file loader again.

It allows the vehicle to be able to drive on water. Currently, even in Snapshot 2.2, only the VCS ATV600 uses this ability.

Silent Patch restore it so you can drive cars on water on 2.2 version

No, they shouldn't. Vortex patches aren't even written, actually. If it will, it will, indeed be called VEHICLE_FEATURE_VORTEX.

I will export some Carcer City areas soon.

 

Yesterday I made a format for a .dat file loader and I made it possible to define vehicles with features. Some have optional parameters such as siren position, and other stuff.

 

​File format

The file is located in the data folder under the name vehiclefeatures.dat​. It can be opened with a normal text processing program, for example Notepad.

 

​This file has multiple sections, and every line is put in a section based on the first character of the line.

​For example:

 

​Standard section

$ ZR350 477 VEHICLE_FEATURE_ZR350​
​The ​'$'​ identifies that this line is part of the first/standard section. This section is used to define ALL vehicles and give them a label which is then used in other sections, and a feature name which is also important.

 

​The format:

$ const char *name[16] (identifier used to bind other sections to this one) uint16_t model_id const char *feature_name[128] (list can be seen below)
As you can see, EVERY vehicle which you want to give a hardcoded feature, requires a line of this type. Without it, it will crash your game, because it uses the identifier to obtain the model ID and the feature type, which are handled with IDs internally.

 

​Other sections

​I didn't make other sections yet, but these will use the identifier name to obtain the vehicle feature, and the ID.

 

​These sections will use a different starting character (other than ​'$'​), and will define extra properties for a vehicle feature as customization options.

​This includes extra stuff like siren position (basicly offset from model pivot), SWAT/FBI/Army ped ID (however you can only define peds which are already using hardcoded ped features, to be customizable in the future)

How about adding those patches you have done to the FLA? Or release as a side version so that it would be compatible while modding other mods and not be totally depending on UG?

In order to allow users to assign vehicles with features, the current patches need to be rewritten.

I think humans speaks like that.

 

BTW, Your vehicles patches, map patches and other patches will be presented as separate .asi formats or all will go to UGCORE.ASI files? I think you can release your .asi patches to contribute GTA Modding.
