Hey, i'm having a bit of a problem in 2.2

When saving in different VC safehouses my savegames either crashed when loading or got reversed to the initial situation in Grove Street. Haven't tested yet in San Andreas and/or Liberty City.

(P.S: The crash thing occured after finishing the first Vice City telephone mission)

Do you mind on elaborating on those problems? Like logs, or something?

I am also having issues loading my game. When I install both 2.2 and 2.2.0.1, and launch my game, the titles appear. I then go to load in my game by selecting my save file. The loading screen will appear for a VERY brief second, even shorter, and then immediately crash. "gta-sa.exe has stopped working" Is this common for this version or am I installing this incorrectly? I was very excited to use this mod, and am very upset that I cannot use it.

 

Using the Steam version? gta-sa.exe is the Steam executable, so it sounds like you are.

 

Yes, I am indeed using the steam version.

 

Downgrade to 1.0. Steam version doesn't work with this mod. Here's a link to the downgrader: http://gtaforums.com/topic/753764-steam-downgrader/

I dunno, currently the MH2 BSP importers arent that great, so I doubt it.

 

Can you help me? I don t find the patch 9.1 file

Just download 2.2 Version and 2.2.0.1 patch

I might make a custom crash log system which saves crash logs as individual .txt files, and it would include much more information than FLA's system.

 

This means you'll have a crash-logs folder, so finding crashes would become alot easier.

You know where it supposed to be placed

due same file names and folder names.

Then you can spill .

 

Edit: Damn, I didn't see your last message :S.

 

You need a cracked 1.0 .exe of San Andreas for the limit adjuster to work.

You have to find the link by your own though, as we can't post it here.

Just what I think so not sure if it's that or not.

I mean while we're at it, it would be a good idea to find out who holds the copyright for Myriad Islands so we can add them in too, it was the first Total Conversion for any GTA after all, completed for VC back in 2004 and half-finished for SA circa 2007. In its heyday it was recognized in the same way that Underground is right now, and even to this day it remains one of the most sought-after mods in both its incarnations. Would be a shame if it wasn't.

i saw this mod on youtube and i decided to download it,

 

i installed it but after like 25% of loading in the loading screen it just freezes and just the gta sa theme music plays, but it wont load, i cant get in the game, what should i do? i start the gta sa.exe as an admininstrator and as windows xp mode, i just cant figure out what to do now

 

me and my little brother want to play this mod so hard , please help

I guess I'll make this new crash log system today, and finish the Carcer City stuff soon. I'll make it more user friendly, aswell.

Use the 1.0 hoodlum crack and not the steam version of SA and maybe it will load.
