Relocated all of the levels and aligned them to actual Detroit locations;

 

The journalist's level is close to the Downtown area which will feature a skyline

The connected trainyard actually roughly matches the location of a trainyard in Detroit.

The levels which are close to eachother/connected are still close to eachother and are still connected. The only thing changed though, is the way how they are connected. It's being redone, so Carcer City is bug free when I start to connect it and make it into a full city.

you aim to complete another map in Snapshot 3(like bullworth) or you wanna focus in fixing,improving,working in the other cities,etc...?

From what game the UFO is from?

The UFO is a custom vehicle added so travelling to other maps can be done faster. Using a Hydra may actually be slow, so we added extra Hydra's and an UFO.

Here's the new layout, I'll mark every area out which will also be where the info.zon (zone name showing up when entering area) will be based on.

Today I might work on Cottonmouth/Carcer City levels, or just the exterior mall.

Keep it up. I am interested in seeing how you are going to connect these linear levels into an open world city.

Put it this way, if we were to copy everything straight out of the 3D Universe verbatim Carcer City and Cottonmouth would hardly exist, there'd be no Upstate Liberty and there'd be no Interstate. The mod contributors have to decide what goes where in a way that makes the most sense, and if that means putting things that plain weren't in the original games, then so be it.

sorry if i have to many questions but (Dkluin) the weapons from bully are goona be just reskins of gta sa?or are gonna have custom projectiles?(sorry for bad english)

Why would I retexture weapons when the models are there to be converted? I'll use Bully's weapon models, however weapons which actually require writing a new weapon type will not be done.

Here's a new Carcer City layout render. It shows all of the levels, including interior area's which are going to be split from the exterior area's.Every single level is re-connected as some of them weren't connected right, while others lacked some small area's which should've been there. About interiors, they will be there, and all of them will be seperated from the exterior area's and placed in the sky. Snapshot 3 will have every single one of them connected through interior access markers (the yellow cones) and SA doors.

 

I also marked every neighborhood which includes a visited area (level), so I can easily define them in zone files. This means you see a name popup when entering those area's, as we'll connect them all anyway.
