Hello everyone,   This morning GTA Underground was taken off ModDB due to a DMCA takedown notice that was presented on the behalf of Take Two interactive. We are currently trying to look for a solution, and our release plans are put to rest for the time being. We will continue updating you as the situation progresses.

Well for me, Alderney are already represented by the presences of Shoreside Vale even though it is part of LC.

IIRC, R* mentioned that III's LC is based on several cities on the east coast.

I'm a bit concerned about the cars in Atlantis & Liberty Mainland + Upstate Liberty. I'm sure you're bringing new cars in, for them, police cars and whatnot. How about getting inspirations from the Simpsons: Hit & Run for one of the new town's FBI cars, like the Chase Sedan?

Basically, take a Virgo, make it 4-door, and add a siren on the roof, or probably inside the car. It's fine if you reject this idea.

everytime I start up the game after the cinematic showing off the city the game crashes. I've done a fresh install and can confirm it only happens with this installed I've also tried running in compatibility mode and that didn't work. I was having so much fun playing around in VC everyday until this randomly happened. Any help to get me back to causing chaos in VC again would be much appreciated

Yhdf just converted all Manhunt peds. I sent him the Manhunt II peds, he may convert those soon.

 

List of stuff currently done:

Bully peds (alot of them are converted)

Manhunt peds (all of them are done)

Vice City peds (all of them are done, some need fixing)

III peds (not halfway done)

Mainland Liberty custom peds (nearly done)

Are you using the steam version?

 

Because you have to use v 1.0 for it to work, plus the readme in the San Andreas Directory lies, it's actually version 3 or 4 (or you can call it newsteam R1 or R2.), so make sure you downgrade the game. Plus I think you have to use a Hoodlum .exe

Today I found out how the paramedic side mission works.

 

I will update the script so you can play this side mission in added cities.

No, I'm using a disc version and used a downgrader. If it helps this started after I tried Alt-Tabbing which caused the game and consequently my laptop to crash

Hey I have a problem. I've installed the mod to a clean directory. For some reason though the game crashes when I load a save or start a new game. And yes I have a downgraded 1.0 exe. I also installed the silent patch. It didn't make a difference the game still crashes. I'm running windows 7. And before someone asks, yes I have Cleo, Asiloader, and Patch 9 installed. Also, I've tried removing every cleo script unrelated to the mod. That didn't work either.

well, if the screen is white, and the loading stops in halfway or less than that [which happened to me], i finally found a solution. press enter when the loading stops. it will continue. thanks bro.

No, I'm using a disc version and used a downgrader. If it helps this started after I tried Alt-Tabbing which caused the game and consequently my laptop to crash

 

to go a bit more in depth about this "crash" it will go from fullscreen to windowed and the screen will go black yet I can still hear menu sounds when I hit "Esc" or "Enter"

Ok, i've got an unpleasant bug or whatever...
Have tried to change some vehicles (rhino, other military vehicles), opened custom.img with Crazy IMG Editor, added *.dff and *.txd files in there, then rebuilded archive and launched the game.
First of all, tried to spawn changed vehicle - got stucked in spawn menu, when selecting changed vehicle, its not loading it, after cant load ANY vehicle. Same thing with all changed vehicles.
Also have immidiate CTD if coming out of CJ's house (Rhino, looks like).
So, if am i doing smthg wrong?

 

 

 

The reason of that was rebuilding IMG.
When i didnt do that - everything is OK

BTW, didnt found link to this topic on the main post in main topic.

no. i need it for a reason. you see, snapshot 2.2 has an inaccurate map, but snapshot 2.1 doesn't. the hills in snapshot 2.2 have a big glitch.snapshot 2.2 is very disturbing. either fix that or give me the 2.1.8 or 9 patch.

You better install 2.2 because snapshot 2.2 as enough improvements than 2.1 and wait like all others for next snapshot release because it is far ahead...
