In real-life Atlanta, there's a lot of Crips and Bloods gangs. And in the GTA Universe, the Families and Ballas are based off of Crips and Bloods. So maybe we can see some hoods of Families and Ballas in Atlantis?

I thought those gangs were only in the LA area. Guess you learn something new every day.

Nope, they're in a lot of places in the US, idk about other countries tho. I live in Florida and I've even seen a few in some of the more ghetto areas here.

Yea I agree that Families and Ballas should be in every city like how Crips and Bloods moved in on cities taking over the crack trade, and same with Vagos they should be in every city too.

Bugs I noticed:

- Game crashes in the tuning garage close to LC's dam.

- No "dance event" marker anymore in Malibu Club (That's not what I call "fixed" :lol: No offense ;) )

- Game crashes when trying to get to the Ghost town (plane)

- VC Radio stations blast at full volume even if you turn it down in the menu.

- Radio will cut out and never come back sometimes (when switching from interiors to outside in VC mall for example I think.)

- Carl glitches alot when at the tools shop in VC mall

- No trains arrive neither at the LC metro nor the subway.

- LC metro arrives in San Andreas.

- No marker for Vice City's stadium events (map blip is there)

 

 

A suggestion:

I think the different car variations should be named like this:

 

- Infernus '86

- Infernus '92

- Infernus '01

 

Some models seem a bit pointless as well, since they are basically just lower quality versions of later san andreas models (like the gta3 banshee or the VC bobcat.)

I finished the Hidden Package code.

 

The correct SCM syntax is:

 

 

02EC: pickup_handle = put_hidden_package_at coord_x coord_y coord_z
The main differences with the GTA: VC opcode are that the UG one returns the pickup handle, you dont have to use an opcode to set the total number of hidden packages, and that you can specify a height (z coord) lower or equal to -100 to make the game get the height value automatically.

 

When adding a new hidden package, the game will increment the total number of hidden packages stat too. It is also visible in the stats menu.

A suggestion:

I was going to bring this up earlier but forgot. On certain vehicles such as the VC Bobcat and Comet the differences are very minute (different grill, different tailgate, flatter rear end) to the extent that it would be much more worthwhile to modify the original SA .dff to incorporate the VC variation's differences as an extra instead of having both as two separate cars. I mean in the Comet you get several new bodystyles that aren't present in the SA version such as coupe and targa where the model is otherwise 95% identical:

Sometimes Spartan actually uses the SA model and modifies it from there, just because there are little to no differences.

As I said, there's a menu in GTA:SA where you can see your player statistics. Some of them are not shown in the main menu, mostly because they are used internally.

 

So, the game will obviously save and load each statistic value when you load or save your progress.

Yes, you will be able to play new side missions. Some will have changes, so it fits a bit more in SA. This is so everything is balanced, and you wouldn't have money you can't spend on anything as an example.

 

Obviously, the new countryside will feature that.

 

A list of side missions which might be added, or might be adapted to work with added cities.

 

 

Pizzaboy

Deliver pizza's around cities. Spawn points are randomized. You can start this side mission anywhere, unless you're too far away from a pizza parlor.

It will stop the player from getting hungry if completed.

Will also use custom statistics.

GTA: VC Races

Self explaining, I will write a Vice Street Racer script.

Will use custom statistics.

Bully bike races

Self explaining, with some changes.

Will use custom statistics.

GTA: III Checkpoint races

Self explaining, with some changes to make it blend in.

Will use custom statistics.

Rampages from GTA: III and GTA: VC

Might be adapted with the gang warfare system so the ones which are centered around gang wars will make sense.

Will use custom statistics.

Vice Squad from GTA: VC

Already added :p

Taxi oddjob

Uses custom locations in Liberty City and Vice City

Fully adapted and supports garage locations in each city.

Malibu Club dance minigame

Still needs some tweaks.

Will have unique statistic IDs.

Lowrider meetings

Liberty City, Vice City, and maybe even Mainland Liberty will have lowrider meetings which are organized by the gang which is centered at the area.

Beach Parties

Vice City sidemission, uses the dance script and uses unique statistics.

Including:

Beach Parties ruined

Times participated in Beach Party dance events

Trash Dash

Centered in Liberty City, and uses a built-in level system, like all side missions. May be based on the LCS version, or may be completely rewritten.

Burglary

Alot of houses in Vice City, Bullworth, Liberty City, and maybe even Mainland Liberty, will be robbable, and each city will have it's own van location.

Paramedic

Will be adapted to work with added cities, and will use their hospital locations and custom dropoff points aswell.

Judging by the list of side missions I want to add in, the vehicle and ped list, and alot of other stuff left unfinished, you can already tell it may take up to a full year.

Is it possbile to test my 2 player mod because i noticed that the game crash when enter the car and the radio turns on in Vice City/Liberty City is there a way to disable the radio station for vice city/liberty city to prevent the game from crashing?

Danny, I think you should rename the ULPD "SWAT" unit to be "SRU" or "TRU" or something similar like this, but seriously It feels too strange that all of the police forces seems to use "SWAT" for it's special unit.

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that we don't care about the 2 player mod, we had so much spam on this thread regarding that and it's simply boring. It's obvious that you're going to have bugs when you add a mod that's not compatible with this one, deal with it.

The only downside this mod has is that will take years to finish it and to use it fully. A lot can change in a few years, too bad though.

I guess, its not a problem if it is not "Base Gta" car,it can be added, but it will have no use what so ever...maybe make it bullet proof...because...its limo...
