there are shool bus wrecks in SA that can be edited into an actual vechicle

 

fun fact: shool buses were in GTA3 Beta

Well, the actual GTA3 bus could be slightly edited to get a School Bus.

Don't forget about converting weapon sounds.

Not all are needed to be converted though, as some of the SA sounds fit in previous weapons (like Colt 45). But some unique sounds like the UZI 9mm, the Kruger and the M16 from Vice City/Stories would be nice.

The Kruger sound is just epic.

 

It'd also be awesome if the Kruger texture would be the BETA one instead of the final game:

This one looks low poly but the wood texture fits better.

 

The UZI 9mm sound from GTA V is way more appealing and noisy than GTA VIce City/Stories one where it's extremely silent. I'd go for that one.

Personally I dislike the V weapon sounds.

what about getting wanted level when entering fort baxxter, its a rediscrited area, Right?

 

there can be a soldier outfit for CJ that will allow him enter fort baxxter and area 69

There are a plenty of unused stats in SA - you can check them out here. Maybe some of them like "Hidden Packages found" can be useful to you.

I know about those, however we still need extra statistic IDs, and not to forget, SA uses the following system:

 

 

 

There are two arrays, one for integer stats of size 344, and one for float stats of size 83.

 

When you use a SCM opcode to get a stat value on anything higher than 83, it will automatically be converted into integer stats.

 

Anything below 83 would therefore be classed as float stats.

 

However, since there is space available for integers in the same range as the float stats, these integer stats would be inaccessable however the game still uses them.

 

GTA: Underground moves all of those to a different array, to not mess up with extra float stats.

 

Plus, we can add 37 extra float IDs without either rewriting the system or changing all integer stat IDs.

Adding new statistics is required for the scripted features to work. They can be built without these stats, but not being able to see how much hidden packages were collected, seems a bit odd to me.

lol, doesn't like most of the cars have the same sounds? (well excluding some bikes) Besides, there are a plenty of unused engine sounds in SA. I'd like to see those used somehow.
