A few hotfixes are fine, but the problem lies when those quick hotfixes add up and before you know it you have 10 patches. If I remember correctly there werent supposed to be that many patches for 2.1, but we got carried away and it added up to 9 patches before we knew it.

It's best that we just stick to major snapshot releases to avoid this.

wth is this topic about lately, some people start reinventing the mod as if they are in team of this, let it be finished as it was planned without too much interruptions form inventors, makes it look kinda low quality!

Don't worry, the spam is over.

I pretty much wanted to get Snapshot 3 out by now... But since the patches went a bit... too far it is still atleast 4 months away.

I remake the free roaming Los Santos since I have 2-player mission loader without file folders that crashes the game. So the second player starts with CJ. It looks almost like original 2-player mode and that's also special mission for 2-player to help Big Smoke. I manually make 2-player mission in DYOM

Type "player2" or "p2" cheat

You can edit it if you know the scripts anyway I'm not a script master for GTA San Andreas comparing to Saints Row 3 & 4 sandbox+ scripts.

 

Okay so how do I find the real GTA3.img.file because the img.file is empty and what's the names on the expanded San Andreas all peds ID's including Vice City and Liberty City, it will be cool to edit for skin selector and second player's model.

Modified the LC Police Maverick colour scheme. Later on the III Police Maverick will be used as a SA styled version. Also modified the VCN Maverick colour scheme. Currently a temporary III Maverick model is added.

Im using snapshot 2.2.0.1 and the game crashes after starting a new game, also tried downloading SilentPatch
(Snapshot 2.1 patch 9.1 was the last working patch I used, I didn't try the other new ones)

Edit: Do I need to reinstall the game and then install the new snapshot or i can just install the new snapshot over the old one?

please can someone help me i have GTA SA 1.0 which i installed around 2-3 months as i had to reset my PC due to to startup problems anyway i never remember installing any mod at all this year besides MTA SA which should not affect the game files i think i still have it installed but when i load the game with this mod it loads fine till the main menu then i click start a new game and it crashes sometimes you can hear the loading screen music but most of the time you cant also during this time the screen is black and if i press certain buttons either the music turns on or the game crashes or both

If you downloaded it from Steam it's the steam version.

I did not download it from steam. My question better put: Is there someway to check if the version I have is a steam version? (I'm assuming we're not talking about the 1.0 exe, as I already have that)

 

Also, I was just tinkering around and I figured out that if I turn my internet and antivirus off and start the game after the computer has restarted then I can play long enough to get to other islands by jetpack. However, it seems I have about a 20 minute window before the game randomly crashes (no matter what I'm doing). In order to play it again for another 20 minutes I have to restart my computer. Is that giving any modders clarity on my issue?

 

in the fastman92 limit adjuster text file it tells you your game version also the version number does not prove if it is steam game or not as rockstar released a newer disc a few years ago after the original with verion 3.0 i think they also put it on steam i have the 1.0 version but i keep getting game crashes as well

there is a 4 door rancher that fbi uses in SA in game

 

it can be copied and redone to a civillian version

i just found a place for the old versions (ModDB) and not even they work please help me or send me a copy of the game with the mod pre installed please

(and to those who think i want the game as i do not own it or whatever i could have downloaded it from elsewhere and rockstar already made Millions of $$$ in profits from this game)

also i have the game purchased on my iPhone and would love to see mobile versions of this mod including the online multiplayer mode on my phone i also have a MFI controller for gaming on my iPhone when i am on the go i obviously know i would need to jailbreak my phone and i know the mobile versions of the game were ported from PC and the file structure is similar to that of the PC

It means that a 2.2.1 release is unlikely. Even though there are lots of changes since the 2.2 version I still want to add in the rest of what I had in mind.

Since the weather zones are now picked from weather.zon, I thought I'd give some info if someone decides to add new weather zones.

 

It is recommended to take a look at how the IPL:ZON section works. It may help.

The format is the same, as usual.

 

In GTASA, ZON entries can only have two types. One is used for displaying text when entering a new zone, such as "Bedford Point", and the other type is used for defining island IDs. The parameter for island ID is only used in map.zon.

 

With GTA UG, a new type for ZON entries is used, type 4. The island ID parameter is used to define the weather zone ID. This ID is used to assign the weather used for that weather zone.

 

The game uses arrays of 64 CHARs per weather zones, and it will pick a weather ID from an offset to the start of the array. This is probably done to make weather transfer more realistic. It wouldnt go from EXTRASUNNY to STORMY for example.

 

Not only do weather zones define the weather, they are also used for ambient gunfire in Los Santos. In GTA UG gunfire can be heard in Vice City aswell. Eagles spawning in the desert is also weather controlled. I already patched it all and a future loader will allow us to define our own custom weather IDs and give them properties.

 

It is also possible to use multiple zones to define one weather island, but keep in mind that I set up a limit for those, which is 128 entries.

 

Zone GXT entry should be UNUSED, as it has no GXT value.

 

Zone name can be anything you like, keep in mind that it can only contain 8 characters.

 

Defining a new weather island will NOT crash the game, but instead it wont have any properties. In the future this can be modified. Countryside weather array is used by default.

 

Shortly, weather island IDs are used to assign weather IDs (from timecyc.dat) to cities. The game cycles through an array of 64 CHAR values in a loop. This means that weather is not random and thus can be modified with a weather.dat file in the future.

are you talking about getting GTA for free or what as the mod does not support original .exe only the hoodlum crack or another version but cracked .exe are used for piracy anyway

i have even tried installing the versions oldest to newest and that did not work it took so long as extracting the files from each .rar file took around 10 mins each and i had to download each version (around 5 mins) and still no luck for the game working i even got a no installation needed full game torrent and that too did not work with this mod

Loading screen (the one just before the main menu) is white!

After I click on "New Game" the loading screen turns white!

After the music theme finishes everything works good, but I type OHDUDE, go to vice city, land on Love Fist roof, try to go back in the chopper and --CRASH!--

 

After I play in los santos only and i close the game the --CRASH!--log appears.

 

I'm using SA version 1.0 US and I installed the mod correctly (2.2) but i have Intel GMA weak pc is that the problem?

 

Adding hospital blips w/health pickups could be nice...?

Damn Danny, does this mean San Andreas weather can be fully manipulated? That process follows close to what we found out but never finished. Would be great if we could assign full 24 hour slot weathers on SA.

I already managed to modify the weather zones, and their properties, but I did not get to the weather type itself. 24 hour weather is possible, as the array size just needs to be adapted (currently it's hours * max weather type = 184)

 

So yeah, it's my intention to try and crack it.

 

Feel free to Skype me if you want to try the weather.zon stuff, however I didn't fully manage to get the saving/loading of a new savegame block fully working yet.

Yo! duklin one problem founded:

 

Whenever i start the race in gta underground, it stuck at the black screen and when i press 'Esc' or 'Enter 'Shift' it crashes.

Please dkluin give a save file for 2.2 in vice and one in liberty (no cheats) ok? Should include it as an optional for later releases cause I have some problems with the mod.

Hello just some thing i was thinking about and i wanted to use the old school logo because all gta have the new font but me i wanted to use something different. (the convetors wont be on the released one) what do you guys think about the Logo its just a suggestion im planing to do all the loading screens. the release will be Full HD.

But still trying to show it off with the watermark is just really irritating on the eyes. I mean it's right there and covers almost all the artwork.

So have do I find the Ped ID names, I need to named other ped ID for second player. I dig for a folder and gta3.img is empty how do I find this???

Speaking about Fan art or UG logo, i have this one. If you guys like it then i think we can put it in game with some improvements of course. that could be nice. i tried to make it R* style. Heli, moto, car etc.
