[WIP|BETA|SA] GTA: Underground - Mod Discussion

It would be good if this mod was realised with a few features that SA didn't have but make all the sense for a GTA game, e.g. :

 

- Being able to drive-by in any direction like in newer GTA games ( I understand SA already has some code around that as gang members do it)

- Being able to cycle user tracks (can be as simple as selecting another random song)

- Cover system if possible (again I think SA has some code around that as it is featured in missions)

 

These would be good to shorten the capability gap between SA and newer GTAs.

It would be better if we could use modloader to use our own mods and customize our experience, just as long as people don't complain on this thread because of bugs triggered by other mods that are unrelated to GTA Underground.

the 2 first ones would be very easy,but a cover system is extremely hard to code,also,there is no cover mods for gta sa,only 1 or 2 but they are extremely bad or buggy,since GTAU aims to have a "rockstar quality" they won't use anything like that(atleast i think not)

Hello!! I tried to figure out why Portland sags fps!! I thought that large pieces of water may be the cause. I reduced the areas of water and fps increased in 2 times!! Dkluin, I send you a file for test

The second one already exists in the main game. Take a look at your controls ingame to see what key triggers it (on my side it was 3 on the numpad, but it was a custom button so yeah)

Will u be adding radio stations from Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories?

that would take more work

 

just use user track player ;)

or you could download the mp3 for the radio and replace it with the original located in gta sa/audio/underground/radio. or even stitch together the vc and vcs radios together to one big radio which is wht i did. if you want the mp3 files i can find a way to give them to you.

The buildings in Bullworth sway like trees when a helicopter is near. Yes, I said sway. Could be a texture problem, I think.

There are some prelighting bugs around the map.

-The Portland elevated tracks don't have any prelighting in LC.

-Some vegitation in VC is missing prelighting.

-All of Bullworth is completely missing prelighting.

 

All of these three things have prelightning.

 

Bullworth's only map part which lacks it completely would be the trich area.

Must be my game then because they look significantly brighter than everything else.

when you look at drivers seat at the bus IN-GAME the driver isnt seen

 

when you jack it, the driver will fly out like normal, and a chance to crash the game by jacking it

 

EDIT: help! i cannto copy a crash log! when i put my mouse on it, the arrow dissaperas, is there anything elseto do it?

what? is my genuine question im asking so i can patch up the mistakes made by you spamming this forum page? wel thats not as much of an achievement as you not modding the game properly and f*cking up the data files. how do you mess that up and not even bother to fix it? all i ask is access to the old tracks files so the trains spawn and travel where they are meant to. not trying to sound like an asshole but you are the most corrupt mod creators ive ever dealt with and THAT is why everyone left you. That is an achievement.

If you know everything better and refuse to read a post where I said that I forgot to include a few files and a patch will be released to fix that, why dont YOU make this mod?

 

Also, we already have two topics, adding more just seems like more spam for GTAForums and staff has to deal with that. It seems like people either didnt notice his idea, or dont want another topic. Him saying that 3 people want it tells me so.

no i didnt see that because you obviously despise the front page of the mod since you never update it with current issues or notices and i never come to the public chat because its complete cancer. half of the cancer is you talking to the fans of this mod like sh*t. and i would make this mod without being as corrupt as you are except i have no time with school and work to even play this much. but when i do i want a working game where the admin actually listens to people rather than counting down the people he doesnt want to listen to. i have messaged you several times about issues relating to this mod and you just ignore me. im not going to escalate this anymore but just please help people deal with their problems properly without being an ignorant asshole.

there is a bug in SF

 

trams dont spawn on road tracks, they spawn on dock track near the cargo ship

 

trains dont spawn in SF i think

Since you are already planning to add side missions, will you add asset missions? Eg: pimping side mission for the Pole Position, taxi driver side mission for Kaufman, Checkpoint Charlie for the Boatyard, etc etc

Dkluin, I think that spamming will increase if you keep posting your updates. I think that post nothing about this mod for a time. Then I think that people believe that mod is dead and spamming will over. Then you can do something about this mod.

Good job, but isn't it kinda pointless to have 2 hunters, these two arr pretty much identical to each other...or is it going to have some special features?

 

Correct me if i am wrong, but the whole point of this mod is to TRANSFER all maps, vehicles, weapons etc. from older GTA games to SA without replacing them and other sh*t, keeping all content altogether...

If it is pointless to have to hunters from different GTA's, so isnt it pointless also to have similar sentinels, for example, or similar weapons, or peds and so on...

If "yes", so it wont be a great conversional mod but just regular mod with different models or additional maps...

Why are you still posting here though? it seems that you enjoy the mod he created, despite your nonsensical hateful comments towards Dkluin. If you don't like it, feel free to leave and make your own mod.

 

I bet you can't even do half of what's been done by each individual person on this mod. Since you're so great, prove us wrong.

I don't think it's a good idea to halt any kind of communication regarding the mod, the spammers should simply be dealt with, it shouldn't f*cking matter. Why should we let a handful of idiots ruin a great thing?

 

If people think the mod is dead, then we can forget about bug reports and feedback from the community, that's not a positive thing.
