What about a pop-up before game launches? When running the game's exe, a pop-up would show with a warning, then after pressing a button (like OK), game starts.

It is possible, but difficult. I am unable to add a warning message before the main menu shows up (ingame message) which will tell the user to downgrade the game if needed.

 

I spoke with the ugmp developer, UGMP is dead, obviously, and a release is coming. I just need to get rid of a few things and revert back to Underground_Core.asi.

So, UGMP developers have stopped working. Very Sad. So, contact those person who have some skills in coding. Like Silent, DK22PAC, ThirteenAG. many other coders who are contributing their work in GTA. So, try to start over again and try to bring UGMP from dead.

This mod is really great so far! I am really enjoying it! :D

 

Here are some of my ideas for the future versions:

 

*A marker at every airport that will make you be able to travel to other cities more quickly.

 

-BUG: In Bullworth Academy school, if you enter the classrooms, sometimes you will glitch out and fall into blue hell. (atlest it happened to me)

 

*Being able to choose from different game characters:

In VC a Tommy Vercetti skin (if you wanted it you could get it at his house)

In LC a Claude skin

In Bullworth a Jimmy skin

etc.

 

*Sea/Air traffic - Because it is kinda boring traveling to other cities without any other traffic, I'd like to see a plane fly next to me or a boat on the sea.

 

I hope you read this :D I love your mod guys.

3. Almost every garage doors and cameras in VC and LC are in wrong positions.
4. Some air conditioners in vc docks have wrong angles.

Nah. It will show up each time you launch it.

Just finished with the Underground_Core.asi. The ped color system is no longer going to be used for any VC peds, instead we would most likely use them for VCS ones.

make up your mind, which is worse: this pop-up on every launch or ton of kids asking why their steam version won't handle the mods, just think about it!?

I don't know, the crash log message didn't help people with sending the full log unless you make it obnoxiously large. And plus, it's annoying to have the same thing being told over and over again, even after a successful launch. Kind of like why some people (Including me) turn off the UAC prompt in Windows.

Plus, a new radio zone might also be introduced.

 

When you are not in any city, you will switch to what I would call "static radio" mode. It will have 8 different stations, which all use static sound. You can still turn the radio off, obviously, and you can turn on your custom radio tracks, as usual.

just use your user track player for that part. its like in real life. when you have no radio use a disc.

 

well in this case the music in your pc. but you all get what i mean.

That sounds like an interesting idea, but if you do that, then can you extend the radio zones so it reaches further? Between cities, it would be nice if it only had static during a small amount of the journey.

 

So if we map out the radio zones with boxes, the ammount the radio stations would go would be much farther. So for example, if we're flying from San Andreas to Vice City, from when we start flying over the ocean to the point when you reach VC, you would hear SA stations for 45% of the journy, then static 10% and VC stations for the remaining 45%.

 

I would hate having static in between cities.

 

However, it would also be neat to have boundaries for individual stations. That way some can reach farther than others, and the dial would gradually transitiin.

Dkluin I think using two or more SCM is possible. Like when you press new game there will come multiple options like one is to open/load normal/original GTA SA SCM file and other one will open your modified SCM file(similar to MPACK). To do this you will need an ASI script or a MPACKs type file to choose between story/game. Modifying the main SCM, it loses the ability to open the save game when you make the game update.

 

I think that you can introduce import/export mission. Like trading new cars, new weapons to different city. The mission will start at dockyard. If I come with a new from the car, if I want to buy/sell it to the different city, I'll get the price depending on the city. Ruger/M60 is only available in VC. If I export some of my weapons, I'll get a good amount of money. If I want to import AK47 in VC I'll have to contact black market dealer to get it.(I think that this part is unnecessary) I hope you understand that what I meant to say.

 

So, will you release UGMP with that SAMP version?

Hello, i wanna help with the bugs too!

I'll try not to spam, so ill post chunks of bugs that i find here and there.

I was about to go Vice city, when i noticed that this road:bugbugbugbug_by_francis097-daf6sia.pngIt lets cars fall through it:

Now i don't know if this is a vanilla bug, whenever it is or not, i think that fixing it anyway isn't a bad thing.

Next one is something that i didn't see anyone else report, or that you probably already know if it is a thing.. but its probably my fault for installing the patches in a wrong way, so let me know:

After i get off the plane, the logos for the radio station would just go blank. Entering a safe house and then exiting it just fixes this, i don't know why it happens or if that is my fault for it.

Next one is more like a dumb question rather than a bug:

At first i said to myself: ok, probably a left over or the textures of the city are misplaced. But when i got close (not by that much because the game crashed) i could noticed that they looked like a level of manhunt 2. So this must be just a rigged level of manhunt 2, right?
