You can't at the moment, the img's are encrypted, you can't use mods that add/edit models.

So I have a rather minor issue, just wanted to know if there's a way to fix it. For some reason it seems my minimap is rather off-center, say that I'm driving down the road by Glenn Park and the minimap has me placed square in the pond of said park. Any way to re-adjust it?

Yes, it is completely impossible, but I think buried in all the spam there was something said about decrypting them in Snapshot 3 or the 2.2 snapshot which is a thing now for some reason.

Another thing that I hope is fixed, that was driving me insane when I was playing it too.

A temporary solution for users crashing on 2.0 and 3.0 is now added to the FAQ.

This is going to help in keeping this topic clean too.

Posted the Snapshot 2.1 Patch 9 release on ModDB aswell.

 

It includes the tiny 9.1 version aswell, so the people on there have the new version too.

for some reason this time it works totally, but still upstate liberty isn't there and there's just water in it's place. Also, I saw many vehicles didn't saw previously on any rockstar game, such as kutt, airmaster, delegate, posher, reagan,signum,army hydra etc. are they legit vehicles from rockstar games or you made them your own?
also, will be there a compatibility for SkyGfx mod? because PC graphics are killing me, I want that orange sky from PS2.

The dance minigame features different dance levels which are handled globally, so you don't have to restart dancing on your already beaten levels on other locations.

ya lord Danny has finally fixed the dancing feature in the malibu club. hip hip her ray.

So, I've started testing Bullworth today. 5 minutes into it and I've stumbled upon two glitches that you should definitely fix before releasing version 2.2 or any other version (in case they haven't been fixed). Crates/train carriers are floating in mid air above the tracks instead of being on the tracks. Also, water waves are appearing throughout the part of industrial area. Photo that shows both problems is below. Will return after I find other problems.

Aswell as flooded tunnels in LC.

Great news then :)

 

I'm a bit further into the city and more minor stuff appears out of place, but considering 2.1 was released some time ago, Bullworth must've been worked on since then. Anyway, here they are.

 

- No rooftops on many buildings that lead into the sea water (probably because it was early stage of development)

- Many stores with open doors around the city have relatively long dark hallways as an entrance that lead nowhere (probably because real interiors need to be put there)

- Small floating objects around the street such as a tiny box floating above the sidewalk at the beginning of the city, stuff like that

 

Then to some photos again. More floating cranes over the train tracks on a different location though and other two photos are the junkyard gate which are see-through when you're inside the junkyard, but not see-through while standing in front of the junkyard

Bullworth is actually not designed to have any form of rooftops. The ones which you do see, are actually only there because of the ending of Bully has a few objectives/scenes above the normal height of rooftops.

 

Anything you see, might aswell just be how R* designed it. Not everything can be explained though, some of it can be actual issues we still need to fix.

 

A few examples of these issues are:

 

-The junkyard not being designed to fit in next to the rest of the map, so there are some overlapping objects which will be moved or removed (it's not going to matter anyways)

-Some generics converted have changed pivots, but their IPL lines are still the same, so they will actually end up being misplaced

I'm going to upload a video showing the Malibu Club dancing minigame soon.

 

Total list of progress done in the last few days:

 

-Fixed Malibu Club dancing minigame crashing the game when trying to start it

-Radio station textures are now loaded when the player enters a vehicle, and unloaded when he leaves one. This will fix the bug where radio station icons become white after playing specific minigames/dancing minigame

-Added vehicleAudioLoader compability for Liberty City radio

-Removed Atlantis + it's radio (they won't be included in Snapshot 2.2, making the mod size a bit smaller)

-Removed Statue of Liberty

Why is Statue of Liberty removed though? Shouldn't it be a part of LC as you've already gone through trouble of making it? It would be a nice touch to have the Statue there.

Dkluin, it's a weird question but will you change the data saving system of UG? Like we generally use gta_sa.dat instead of it'll use a ini file. Because, you are going to change a lot of features of UG. Like changing menu, a lot of internal stuffs. Will you do something like that?

Two questions:

 

1 - Why was Atlantis and the Statue of Liberty removed?

2 - Will they return eventually?

 

I personally think the removal of those is very unfortunate if permanent.

Of course they will. It's just that they're so unfinished at the moment that they're not worth being in the mod, and will return when it is much more like a finished city. The Statue of Liberty I don't know, I never liked it and hope it doesn't return, it just doesn't fit in the universe. :/

I think there should be a poll, because a lot of people (including me) love the Statue of Liberty included in the mod.

I really worry about you actually will connect vice city into a bigger island part, in this instance, cottonmouth, it would be OK if you add a totally new bridge to vice city to connect with cottonmouth, just like how Chinatown wars completely removed the alderney bridge, but based your map in the first page, it seems you're actually planning to merge Vice city's left side to make it totally soil, instead of water, for me, it is horrible, will totally destroy how vice city actually is, because these parts are meant to be water, not soil. Please reconsider your plans :'(.

 

Also, how is atlantis removed? For me, it still shows on map, but if I try to approach there, game is crashing.

Most GTA cities are on mainland but cut off in game for gameplay purposes, exception is LC

 

How do you think they feed themselves? There is only like 2 farms in entire San Andreas, which brings us to something else:

Let's be real here, it would be waaaay too hard to do it and it would take too much time to get it done, not worth it.

I think originality should be preserved. Also, no, cities aren't part of a larger mainland encept of LC, which there is a upstate liberty, the point is, yeah, they're designed as islands for gameplay limitations but not as a larger scale, they're not actually connected to a larger mainland by soil, they may connect it with bridges tho, just like how Chinatown Wars managed the absence of Alderney. Left side of LC is made with ports and a small beach, and in VCS, in one mission, you even swim in that area. If they're completely destroyed with making that area soil, all the ports and that beach will not have a purpose, despite how R* actually designed that area, and that also makes that mission non-canon, considering the fact Victor cannot swim in soil.

 

EDIT------------

 

Also, i noticed he also plans to alter State of SA and left side of LC (not upstate) too! Same thoughts also for these areas, please don't alter cities and don't corrupt their originalities! Bridges would be nice tho, just like Chinatown Wars did with Alderney State. It's like removing buildings in one area of city and still calling it the same name, despite being totally different, please reconsider your plans!

Since Atlantis got removed, it might be an idea to crop the size of the map and bring the cities more together. In that way you don't have to make a big chunk of land with nothing in it, and it will create more time to make a new, smaller land part that is full of farms, little towns etc. I think that would be a lot better and easier to accomplish.

While we're talking about Atlantis back in March you posted some Atlantis progress including more houses, roads, a factory, even a few tall buildings for a skyline, but in the Snapshot release very little was included. Did you decide not to add those things or what?

Hey I have a problem. I've installed the mod to a clean directory. For some reason though the game crashes when I load a save or start a new game. And yes I have a downgraded 1.0 exe. I also installed the silent patch. It didn't make a difference the game still crashes. I'm running windows 7. And before someone asks, yes I have Cleo, Asiloader, and Patch 9 installed. Also, I've tried removing every cleo script unrelated to the mod. That didn't work either.

 

Also, I expect help from someone. I'm tired of people on these forums not being any help what so ever.
