Nope it has been dead for over a year.

What? SOL is not really alive, it´s dead, at least on SA engine. SOL for SA was as long alive, as Underground was part of it.

 

That's why I said you a have a point about that.Sorry about my sentence, it seems like I was talking about the current SOL.

 

edit : I know you guys hda a rough relationship with X-Seti , but it's quite unfortunate considering the large scope of the mod lol.

 

I want to make one thing clear, I personally have no problems with X-Seti.

I'm still on patch 3, do I need to download every patch from 3 to the current or just download the most current patch?

You can use the most recent patch, it will contain every single patch.

There's the CHANGEPERSPECTIVE cheat which allows you to switch protagonists.

OMG! I'm a bit scared right now, My game crashed and now there is 8-bit music that is playing and wont go away!! closing the dialog with the crash info won't stop the music, I also looked in the Task Manager for an open thread and there isn't one, did I just get a virus??

So everything in my game is working fine, I've installed the mod and it works perfectly. I'm using Snapshot 2.1, patch 9. The ONLY mod I use asides from the recommended widescreen fix and silentpatch is GInput so I can use a gamepad. But for some reason there are no gang territories in Liberty City or Vice City, and nothing I do can get them to show up, be it buying properties in the area or conquering territory in San Andreas.

 

EDIT: Doing a complete re-install of the mod and subsequent mods seems to have fixed it. Weird, but ignore my post.

Also, will be there any support in the future for SkyGfx mod, such as automatically disabling ps2 shader when going to another city other than state of san andreas? Because of conflicting vice city and III "shaders", my game crashed when I tried to make them both work.

I really don't know what's wrong with my game. Maybe I installed mod file as corrupted, when right clicking the properties of mod file, it says it's 2,66 gb, is it actual size of the mod?

Hey there!
Quick question. I successfully downloaded and installed the mod and it opens but after the loading screen, the screen turns black and some music starts playing(I think it's some christmas music) and it stays like that forever. Any help?

2.66 gb? It should only be 2gb.

Added a new rooftop fix to LC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also added a warning message if you happen to install Snapshot 2.2 on an old Snapshot 2.1 installation folder, which reminds the user that they should reinstall the game on a clean installation folder because certain files are no longer used and could potentially crash the game.

Update on Snapshot 2.2:

 

 

-Going to be a standalone version

-Includes all of the previous patches

-Has the latest Snapshot 3 content

-Instead of placing savegames in the San Andreas User Files folder, they will be placed inside the GTA Underground User Files folder. (also seperated settings to not interfere too much)

-SilentPatch will be included in this version

-Has alot of radio station script edits (plus it's much more future-proof now)

-In order no longer send spam here, we've actually added some in-game stuff too.

OK, real question this time. I want to start the main storyline of San Andreas, but I can't find the red marker I'm supposed to walk into. Am I blind or just dumb?

 

And as a side note, is there any way to make the radio in LC/VC not change wildly with a single press of the button? If I just slightly tap the Next Station button it cycles through half the stations. I have to switch randomly and hope I land on the station I want.

The red marker was removed with the latest patch, but the text was never updated. As for the radio stations, if you bind to change the radio with the scroll wheel it works fine.

Okay jigsteal, could you please put everything in one post? I have never seen so many triple and double posts in my life! I hate to complain but it's probably one of the reasons we got to page 300 so quickly.

 

If you actually bothered to read my posts, you'd realize I said 'Sorry if I post alot, its because i reply to people's posts as i SCROLL DOWN.

 

I reply so much because I dont spend my time constantly refreshing the page waiting for someone to post something,

 

And I start scrolling down and replying from the last page I commented on.

 

Also, I do not want people to say tl;dr because my posts were too long, and tell me i have really long posts.

No, it doesn't becuase along with that you have terrible and obnoxious spacing and font size in each of your posts to make them way longer then they need to be, and also how that reasoning doesn't even consider the fact that there's an edit button so as you scroll down you can add to that post later. The topic is already a sh*thole of spam and the last thing we need are double-triple posts.

 

Also, good on the staff for not making a sub-forum for this mod, I feel like that would hurt it more than help it. (See what I did there? I diddn't use quadruple spacing and put my replies in one post!)

 

1: I made the text huge so you could see it, and not give me the reply you just gave me.

 

2: Like I said, I'm not making huge posts that give you finger cramp.

 

3: You weren't even quoting anyone, that doesn't need spacing.

 

4: Because I make one seemingly long comment at a time to one person, your idea is combining the posts? How would they realize Im replying to them? You don't get notified. A bunch of people wouldn't get notified, they'd drift past the comment, not knowing I'm replying to them.

 

5: You only combined those two posts because those two posts weren't A BIT LONG like mine. Otherwise I would combine them.

 

6: I didn't use 4 f*cking spaces, i used one.

 

7: I use spaces because people like to speed through posts, and if I use spaces, they actually read it.

I make those triple posts because for example: i commented on page 301, i was gone for a bit, and when i came back, the page was 303. I decided I wanted to go to page 301 to see what comments I can reply to. I saw someones comment, then replied to it, then continued scrolling down. I saw another comment, reply to it, continue to scroll down, find another, comment, continue to page 302-repeat-then 303. Then I see your complaint.

 

So now do you understand why I dont combine my sentences into one huge TL:DR post? One person wont really get me to change how I post. TL:DR means 'Too long, didn't read'.

 

 

Your argument is near invalid, as you're pretty much telling me i'm spamming because of your opinion of how I post. One large post (your idea) = a bunch of people dont realize they are being quoted and they dont wanna read it because the comment is so long, thus it feels like a long post (once again, your idea) is more spam than 3 short posts.

 

Okay, whatever, do as you please. That doesn't change the fact that it's annoying and actually ends up working against you, but this thread is already cancer and I doubt one guy not using double spacing and double-triple posting is going to help that.

Aaaaah I see! I'm using a gamepad and it can change San Andreas' radio stations just fine, but the rest freak out and treat one button press as three or four. And that explains why the marker is gone too. Thank you!
