I need help pls...am i doin' something wrong, i see there's some new patches and i want to download them, but it stays at full green line and at name place is questionmark, but it is saying there is some progress in downloading MB. Im using Opera so is it cause of it or something else...? I've tried these methods with google drive but it is not working...

Hey guys me again. So I picked up a retail copy of the game. I installed it, replaced the .exe with hoodlums and I set the .exe in the DEM and it actually makes it into the game.

 

One problem though. When the game maxes out CJ's stats and everything loads, the game still crashes. Any fix would be helpful

Alright, if it crashes when sandbox mode is activated, then it means I had the same problem before.

 

What I did was delete gta_sa.set file from the GTA San Andreas User Files folder (make sure its the right folder if you have more than one GTA installed)

If it doesn't work, move the entire GTA SA folder to C:/Games and launch it through gta_sa.exe.

 

That did the trick to me, see if it works.

 

This should work as the set file was probably created with the old save and uses the old settings and such.

This seems to be literally the best total conversion mod for SA so far... just one question: how do I start non-sandbox mode? in beggining of game it says 'start a new game and go into red blip' but I see no red blip anywhere?

lol yeah i know i also had enough of all the spamming. hopefully people will start to listen and use the the bug tracker.

Will this game ever have a multiplayer server like Los Santos roleplay server on samp? There would be so many people playing it would be unreal!

SNAPSHOT 3 INFORMATION!

Here's the goal of Snapshot 3:

 

In Snapshot 1 and Snapshot 2, there were always unfinished, buggy, or just forgotten aspects, stuff which was unfinished, or simply not done yet. I want to finish every single one of these things and fix all the bugs I can find. We are not only finishing/bug fixing/polishing stuff, we will also give the player some really cool content aswell. So mainly bugs will be resolved, I will do an introduction mission mainly showing bits and pieces of the mod which others might not have noticed. So yeah maybe Sandbox mode will get an introduction mission where you are going to tune a VC or LC lowrider (VC Voodoo, LC Yardie Lobo).

 

New features in Snapshot 3:

- You can now dance inside the Malibu Club and you can see dancing peds there.

- You can now buy melee weapons (after weapon limit is hacked you will be able to buy hammers, and other amazing weapons) in Vice City's Hardware stores.

- All rooftops will be fixed

- Liberty City gets SA shops and a bug fix treatment

- Most (if not, all) vehicles from GTA: Vice City, GTA: III, Manhunt, Manhunt 2, and Bully are now in SA style. You can tune these vehicles, some of them are lowriders and have their very own unique tuning parts, paintjobs, and more.

- A sh*tton of bugs are fixed

- The North Point Mall is now enterable with roaming shopping peds, P.I.G security members, and the Hardware store + Ammu-Nation there are now accessable aswell.

- Glass in Liberty City is now breakable. They are no longer solid nor do they have a weird blue color on them.

- Saint Mark's Bistro is enterable in Liberty City

- All GTA: Vice City interiors are enterable, all of them will have working lights, particles and more (also called 2dfx effects)

- Bullworth map added - with working props (breakable, coming with 2dfx effects) and even traffic.

- Mainland Liberty map finally added and can be explored ingame (no traffic)

- Fixed bugs on alot of VC peds

- More safehouses in Vice City and Liberty City

- Business system implemented as shown earlier

And much more!

 

Specific bug fixes!

 

Newer list, these are fixed but its getting a bit unorganized, but people can find it out.

-Ocean Beach misplaced doors

-Wrong height on all VC horseshoes, oysters and camera pickups

-Windows are invisible from the inside in the Sunshine Auto's showroom

-Savegame pickups in safehouses didn't spawn

-Not being able to buy safehouses in SF or LV while in Sandbox Mode

-3rd Shark member never spawned with the other Shark members

-vc_male01 ped wasn't found anywhere and neither was it in use, now it spawns on the street

-VC Well Stacked Pizza Co interior markers were wrongly done (didn't support multiple entrances to it)

-PIG members weren't found anywhere, now they are classified as police peds and have guns/nightsticks but can't be found in police cars ofcourse

-LC Stinger didn't have vehicle audio

-VC Moonbeam didn't have car colors

-Wrong texture used near the Ocean Beach Hotel exterior doors, now they use the right texture + prelightning

-The Airstrip in Bone County Desert is now owned by the player when starting Sandbox Mode

-All safehouses have markers in Sandbox Mode

-VC Lighthouse beam didn't rotate, now it rotates

-VC Downtown GASH blimp didn't move, now it can be found flying around Downtown

-Glass in LC did not break

-Weird color on LC glass

 

 

Recently there haven't been as much progress updates, but still I have a list of annoying bugs which I found, these are going to be fixed today.

Bug list

-Missing collision in Ocean Beach Hotel interior, it is possible to jump out of the interior

-Misplaced Ocean Beach Hotel doors

-Ocean Beach Hotel night model is used as a day model - this prelightning error will be resolved.

-Missing entrance markers for the VC Mall

-Some misplaced road near the VC Mall

-Crash when viewing map legend (fixed by redirecting default case of legend tekst switch to return opcode, therefore the game will not try to display text when the marker ID is not defined

-In LC, the car sounds f*ck up after a while

Things I cannot fix because of fastman92 limit adjuster bugs:

-No Ammu-Nation ambience sound in added shops

-New interiors dont have ambience sounds

-Added hydra's dont have missiles

Things I cannot add because of limits:

-Garages for safehouses in VC, LC, MLL, Atlantis

-Pay N Spray garages in VC, LC, MLL, Atlantis

-Tuning garages in VC, LC, MLL, Atlantis

-Improved map legend showing the added markers

-Tuning garage improvement; choosing ALL vehicle colors available in the mod

-More gangs with unique gang turfs (my solution is just a cargrp.dat/pedgrp.dat hack which makes them zone based)

-New animations

-More weapons (will be added as soon as limit is FINALLY hacked)

Unfinished stuff which MUST be finished/added:

-Hardware stores in VC

-VC Mall Ammu-Nation

-Back doors inside Tommy's Mansion

-Stadium events in VC and LC

-Rooftop fixes in VC, LC, and Bullworth

-All vehicles in VC/LC/BW/CC/CM in SA style with tuning parts

-Shops in LC

-No LC Ammu-Nations

-Buggy MLL

-LCS/VCS interiors converted

-Carcer City levels all converted and connected

-Cottonmouth levels all converted and connected

-Traffic for Bullworth

-Buying airplane tickets for VC, and some paths for LC-SA. The script has to be fixed.

 

 

But can I buy clothes in this snapshot when it comes out ???

well im not the guy who makes this mod. but i do know that the online multiplayer is going to be 10 times better then samp its self.

do you know what might make this ugmp even better. if it had some kind of microphone system. so players can speak to one and another

The map doesn't want to load for me I can see like Vice City on the right hand corner, but can't even get there.

I agree with this completely, there should be an option to play sandbox without any of the perks which we should be able to unlock with side missions and possibly custom missions if they plan on adding any.

 

The storyline mode is probably too incompatible with the mod, so I understand the fact that they couldn't keep it in, that's why I have a separate game folder just for that.

Sandbox Mode is changed in Snapshot 3 with the introduction of businesses.

 

5 million start bonus is changed to 50k, all stats are reset to default, the weapon pickups at Grove Street are gone, the map isn't fully unlocked anymore, adapted business system with the same prices/system as GTA VC used.

Downloaded the patch and put it in my GTA SAn Andreas Directory, I click on GTA_SA.exe and it opens up normal GTA please help!

Another problem, when trying to connect the load bar goes full and then the game just quits itself and crashes sometimes, any ideas on how to fix that?

All that had to be done was downgrade your steam GTA and then just add the files to the directory and start again, now it works perfectly fine and loving the game.
