Hey dkluin, I think you should edit the first post. Because many people are facing some problems installing GTA:Underground. You should post installation instruction, software requirement for those who can't install.

Some can't even find the download link, so why should I put installation instructions there?

 

Plus, there's a readme in Snapshot 2.1.

In a later update, the VCPD police car will be moddable. One of the VCPD Police Car's paintjobs will be the beta paintjob.

Actually it's already in the game

It's called Stanier. You can spawn it with the vehicle spawner or find the vice city variant in washington beach or ocean beach (LC and bullworth have its own variant of the Stanier)

Here's a list on how radio stations in VC are chosen based on the vehicle audio loader setting:

 

Playback FM / SF-UR -> Wildstyle FM

K-Rose / K-DST / Radio X -> V-Rock ( LCS Angel, LCS Avenger, VC Love Fist, and the VC Angel all use a Radio X setting! )

Bounce FM -> Fever 105

K-Jah West -> Radio Espantoso ( Cuban Hermes now uses K-Jah West setting! )

Radio Los Santos -> Wave 103

CSR 103.9 -> Flash FM

Master Sounds -> Emotion 98.3

WCTR -> Either K-Chat or VCPR, it's randomized

Guys, I just saw this, can't believe I missed it until now. I have to say, I've been there since GTA 1 and what you guys are doing here is for a medal of honor. Amazing work so far. I'm really eager to see how the final product will look like. I just have one question - Will this mod (along with all the maps in it) be DYOM (design your own mission) compatible? Will it be possible to use the DYOM mod PatrickW and Dutchy made in GTA Underground?

Radio station fixes:

 

Fixed radio station icon not updating after leaving and re-entering a vehicle

The script now remembers the radio station you were last tuned in to (no support for remembering each island's last station when switching yet), and will switch to that instead of blindly going to the station defined in vehicleAudioLoader)

I did try it, and yes, it works, however things like the Shoreside Vale bridge will not appear.

So, you can to listen to V-Rock in Liberty City, or you can find the LCS Angel & LCS Avenger in Vice City?

No, you won't be able to listen to V-Rock in Liberty City. If you happen to get a LC car which has K-DST setting it will automatically switch to V-Rock when you teleport it to Vice City, and it will switch to Head Radio if you teleport it back.

 

As it doesn't store radio stations when changing island, it will switch to Head Radio.

It´s a bit unfair towords United, as United was not able to use FLA, which didn´t exist at that time.

For those having problems downloading the mod, i've heard you can bypass Google Drive's stupid limit by using the following link: https://googledrive.com/host/file-id and replacing "file-id" with the file ID of the mod download.

In this case it's 0B0HsUiXYxH7FVUVxTUp1OGN1Mkk meaning that you have to use this link to download it: https://googledrive.com/host/0B0HsUiXYxH7FVUVxTUp1OGN1Mkk

 

OR, simply use this method:

I haven't tried any of those methods, but I've heard they work. We wouldn't need to do this if Google Drive wasn't such a terrible file hosting service..

Hey guys me again. So I picked up a retail copy of the game. I installed it, replaced the .exe with hoodlums and I set the .exe in the DEM and it actually makes it into the game.

One problem though. When the game maxes out CJ's stats and everything loads, the game still crashes. Any fix would be helpful

Why the flip you use google drive.

Alright, if it crashes when sandbox mode is activated, then it means I had the same problem before.

 

What I did was delete gta_sa.set file from the GTA San Andreas User Files folder (make sure its the right folder if you have more than one GTA installed)

If it doesn't work, move the entire GTA SA folder to C:/Games and launch it through gta_sa.exe.

 

That did the trick to me, see if it works.
