What compatibility are you using? Right click on gta_sa.exe > properties > compatibility and run on windows 7 compatibility mode.

First off, reinstall the game. Then do the steps.

Its the single gta_sa 1.0 US file needed. if you cracked the game or modified the game I cant help you.

 

I choose this one because its the only one i found i can trust and it instantly downloads the file. Its also for steam and non-steam

 

Step 2: You must open the 1.0 downloader upon completion. Dont worry, its not a virus, its because Nortons is retarded nowadays.

 

Step 3: Do what the downloader needs you to do, just dont delete the original GTA SA file untill the 1.0 file is in the GTA SA folder. Then you delete the original file.

 

You'll know its the right file because it is called 'gta_sa'

 

Install CLEO. You'll need to let CLEO install all the extensions (They say asiloader and other stuff). And when it asks you where you want CLEO and the extensions to be, put them in the GTA SA folder.

 

Step 4: Open the RAR folder containing the mod.

 

Step 5: Extract everything BUT the folder called 'Mod Installation', if you dont want the Car Spawner.

 

Step 6: If you do want it, you will do everything in step 5, but after extracting all the other folders, go into the folder called 'Mod Installation'. Put all of the content inside the folder named 'Compatible mods' into the CLEO folder. The CLEO folder is inside the folder where your new 1.0 GTA SA game is.

 

Step 7: Done! After this, the game HAS to work. If it doesn't then there's something wrong with your computer. You activate it through the GTA SA folder, I haven't tried activating it through steam.

Now the only reason this shouldnt work is because theres something wrong with your PC, you cracked the game/modified the game, or you should give the link for 1.0 i suggseted a try.

 

Or your computer is just low on space/has too many processes running.

I can confirm the following:

- There's nothing wrong with my PC, it runs GTA SA with any mods except this one

- I didn't crack the game, I have the Steam version and I performed a clean install for every try

- I didn't try the downgrader you provided because i've never had an issue with the steam downgrader, I could play multiplayer and install mods with that one, so the downgrader isn't the problem

So i know that you dont have mods, and you didnt crack the game.

 

The only two ideas i can give to help you now, are to try the 1.0 link i gave you, or try my solution back on page 283 with the other computers you had. Swap between the downgrader and the individual 1.0 file to see which one doesnt crash for the computers.

 

If these dont work, you can always try installing Patch 9 which Ahmed suggested.

Look if you have a clean GTA SA . then install latest Cleo with ASI loader and than install Snapshot 2.1 and Patch 9

 

That's precisely what I did. I'll post step-by-step what i've done:

 

1 - Performed a 100% clean install from steam

2 - Used the downgrader to switch the game version to 1.0

3 - Downloaded CLEO and ticked the ASI Loader in the installation

4 - Opened the RAR file of the Patch 9

5 - Dragged all files from the RAR file to the game's root

6 - Opened the game and noticed there were no custom images from the mod

7 - Started a new game

8 - Loading screen's first image pops up without the loading bar

9 - Game crashes gta-sa.exe stopped working

Selected everything and dragged to the game's root and then accepted when asked to replace the files.

Dkluin's helpers actually bothered to implement the cars that look the same. They're even adding Beta vehicles (the counthash is the beta infernus in GTA 3 and vice city). And it seems like he must be making vehicles from scratch, because alot of these cars were never in any GTA. 10/10.

 

Also a quick suggestion, can you make the tallest building in Liberty City solid? I wish I could see the entire liberty city from the top, but the tower disappears when you get too close to it. Its in Southern Staunton Island.

 

Same with the tallest building in Vice City. In short, I'd say the same thing as the tallest building in Liberty City.

Also its in Northern Downtown Vice City (north of the second island)

It would be nice if you could be on the top of the tallest tower in Vice City and Liberty City
