Hey dkluin, as a suggestion, you should change stat slot. Like Many weapon will use one weapon slot skill. Like change AK47 skill to Assault Rifle Skill. Or you can add every different skill stat slot for each weapon.

So I decided to finally try this mod for the first time but I ran into an issue. Every time I start a new game, the game crashes even before a loading bar shows up.

 

- I have the Steam version

- I used Silent's downgrader to downgrade the game to 1.0 version

- I'm on Windows 10, never had issues with the game

- I've used mods before, never had an issue

- I tried to install it twice, same result

- Both times I tried installing this, the game had no other mods installed

 

Does anyone have an idea of what I did wrong?

Try moving the entire San Andreas directory to desktop (not the shortcut)

Then run GTA:SA.exe as an administrator

Well i'll be damned...

 

The hoodlum fix didn't work and having the game in the desktop didn't work either.

Yes, it's enabled only for essential windows programs.

There is a mod. Named Tuning mod made by Junior_D something sort of type name. I can't recollect the name. There is a noDEP.asi file. I think it'll fix the problem. There is also another way you can turn off DEP once and for all. But you can again turn on DEP. You will need cmd and write some commands. Then the problem is fixed.

 

If the problem still exists, then install visual c++ redistributable package. Version around 2010 to 2015

Sorry. I'm kinda new to this side of modding. Not to mention I was half asleep while searching. Small issue though. In my game, the added cars don't show up in traffic, the Forelli Excess is not in the spawner at all, and the gang territories do not show up in the other cities at all.

I know how to fix it. I know exactly how to get it working. Trust me.

 

This works for steam and non-steam.

 

 

Requirements:

 

No mods at all

Cleo 4 or higher

 

 

 

Dont use a hoodlum fix, or a downgrader.

 

 

First off, reinstall the game. Then do the steps.

 

 

 

Step 1: Download THIS 1.0 AND THIS 1.0 ONLY: http://www.gamemodding.net/en/gta-san-andreas/gta-sa-mods/45488-gta_saexe-10-us.html

Its the single gta_sa 1.0 US file needed. if you cracked the game or modified the game I cant help you.

 

I choose this one because its the only one i found i can trust and it instantly downloads the file. Its also for steam and non-steam

 

Step 2: You must open the 1.0 downloader upon completion. Dont worry, its not a virus, its because Nortons is retarded nowadays.

 

Step 3: Do what the downloader needs you to do, just dont delete the original GTA SA file untill the 1.0 file is in the GTA SA folder. Then you delete the original file.

 

You'll know its the right file because it is called 'gta_sa'

 

Install CLEO. You'll need to let CLEO install all the extensions (They say asiloader and other stuff). And when it asks you where you want CLEO and the extensions to be, put them in the GTA SA folder.

 

Step 4: Open the RAR folder containing the mod.

 

Step 5: Extract everything BUT the folder called 'Mod Installation', if you dont want the Car Spawner.

 

Step 6: If you do want it, you will do everything in step 5, but after extracting all the other folders, go into the folder called 'Mod Installation'. Put all of the content inside the folder named 'Compatible mods' into the CLEO folder. The CLEO folder is inside the folder where your new 1.0 GTA SA game is.

 

Step 7: Done! After this, the game HAS to work. If it doesn't then there's something wrong with your computer. You activate it through the GTA SA folder, I haven't tried activating it through steam.

 

 

 

If you wanted the Car Spawner, its activated by pressing 3. If the game crashes after pressing 3, you did something wrong or there's something wrong with your computer.

 

The Car Spawner in this mod is very advanced, so you can spawn every single [drivable] vehicle along with the added ones.

 

 

 

 

 

What i have/used

 

That 1.0 file of USA

Unmodified Standard TOSHIBA Windows 8 Laptop upgraded to Windows 10 (Its 4 years old)

This is guaranteed to work if your computer is 4 years old or younger, im not so sure if its 5 or older.

THIS WAS TESTED ON SNAPSHOT 2.1. IT MAY NOT WORK ON OLDER/NEWER VERSIONS.

 

I did alot of editing to polish this to be more understandable.

Actually, it doesn't necessarily have to be "only that specific 1.0" but it can be any downgrader. I personally recommend using this one for maximum compatibility and content. It's file size is a bit large, but it will nuke any remnants of any other version of the game as well as restore the songs and stuff. It will also probably bring greater compatibility with mods in case anything does use something that isn't restored.

I told him to use that one for 4 reasons. 1. its the exact one i used. 2. I trust that one. 3. it downloads in 0.8 seconds. 4. it never fails or hurts your game, just adds a new 1.0 file.

I didn't said you have to delete Cleo And ASI . I said maybe he didn't have Cleo and ASI that's why his game is crashing
