Two other things I forgot to ask.

 

1. Are there any plans to use the Xbox textures in LC and VC? It would be better as the textures would match the SA PC textures. (Why the Xbox textures weren't used in the first place on III PC and VC PC, idk)

2. Any plans to fix the horrendous SA draw distance? I'd like to add in my modifications to it myself but I'm not sure if it will screw anything up.

Patch 6 is really good, great work! It's the most stable release I have used up to now. Planes work fine now (as do all the other vehicles). The only issue I had was I got a random crash while driving along the huge bridge in Mainland Liberty, but besides from that everything is working great so thank you! (Although the "changeofperspective" cheat is not working).

 

I have a question/suggestion though. Will you ever change Saint Marks Bistro? So instead of using the version that comes with San Andreas you use your own? As it's annoying being restricted when you go out into the back, not to mention there is snow everywhere. I think it would be better if when you go out the back you enter back into proper Liberty City (like in the SAxLCxVC mod) :)

 

Also, I see on the first page listed under Snapshot 3 you mention more safehouses in LC and VC. Do you already have a few properties in mind? In VC I would personally like it if you would make the mansion on Starfish Island (the one with the R* pool) a safehouse! That would be awesome :)

It's changeperspective, not changeofperspective. I will edit the back markers and add a door there instead.

Okay thank you! In CheatStrings.dat it says "90, ChangeOfPerspective # Change to Claude/Tommy/CJ" hence why I thought that was the code, so you might want to change that.

No Xbox Textures is okay. When you unlock the files, someone will make a mod.

 

As for the draw distance, the default SA draw distance is horrible, and I hope it can be increased so I can see a good portion of the ground when flying in a jet. I think there is a mod out there where its low when your below the clouds, but high above them.

 

Also went to Bullworth. Just a few floating buildings and trees, plus a crash.

because they should be reported as bugs on the bug website, yet people are stull putting them on the forum


we will never see an intergrated Saint Marks Bistro in this mod I don't think, I have asked him but he just says nothing about it, so I doubt it unfortunately, I liked the gta united version, with the room from the cutscene in gta vc

Not exactly, they can report them here too.

 

It's just that there's a higher chance of it getting fixed if it's posted on the bug tracker because it would get buried after a few weeks under 100 posts.

Well he did say he will edit the back markers and put a door there instead, so that will make it a lot better rather than the back being a part of the interior universe like in SA.

Any plans on fixing the airlines script? It's quite tiresome to have to fly everywhere to get to the other cities, I would like there to be a way so we can just instantly get there. Not to mention, it makes one of the main features on the front page a lie.

 

Also, what ever happened to the GTA Underground Stories topic? I thought that was a cool project that would be put on hold for this one, but now the entire page is deleted... Why's that? I honestly think the Liberty City Stories map would fit better but whatever goes...

I did like 70% of the entire map excluding the props/interiors...

I never got a chance to fly lower because my game crashed when I did my second pass by. I flew lower and everything appeared.

 

Anyways, the only crashes I have to report is two.

1. Bullworth crashes as I'm sure you already know. It seems to do it where the cars are.

2. If I drive around SA for a while, like around the whole map, city to city, eventually my game crashes. I drove around the whole state, and crashed near LV airport. Another time I drove from LS to SF, and crashed as soon as I got into SF.

 

Other than that, its all good. Not sure why SA crashes though after a while. Did you change anything in SA?

 

Regardless, I hope the crashes can be sorted out. Crashing is one of the worst bugs you can have in a program, along with one that corrupts files (this mod doesn't do this but I'm mentioning it because that can be rage inducing).

Nice patch and nice new cars. I can't see other cities like Bullworth and Carcer, I just see and can travel to VC, LC, SA; when I try to travel to Bullworth the game crashes. Some cars in LC are in wrong way and they are very fast!

yeah, al believe it when I see it, I've also asked for this countless times and it either hasn't been done or just no answer about it, could be because its not priority but I don't think it will be done

No man they don't. By comparing the GTA 3 and LCS, the LC drivers drive much peacefully. But in here, the drivers drive much crazier, by comparing with your mod. Just make them drive fast on bridges, and not beeing too many cars on streets. Just like original games had.

The lift bridge traffic and the other place are the only roads using highway flags.

 

Other roads use normal traffic like in SA/VC.

Well I think the highway flags are everywhere man, even at yardies territory and Leone's territory. Cause, I can't normally steal a car from pedestrian. I'm trying to stop the car, open the doors, and then he drives away, with opened doors... Well that in San Andreas original game, I haven't noticed drivers like, since I was playing the PS2 version of it, and it was easier to steal a car, and he didn't drive away of course, with opened doors.. But in the previous patch they didn't do that.

However the LC lift bridge area will soon no longer use highway flags so cars dont ram into eachother infront of the bridge.

For example, then how do you explain this crazy pedestrian driver ,driving blue blista at 11:07? Looks so normal for you, doesn't it?

 

 

 

Even GTA United has peaceful drivers in lc. Atleast they don't trying to ram you out from the road. Even Beta Hunter mentioned, the drivers are driving crazy, just like NFS....

@dkluin I have yet to download patch 6 cause of bad internet connection here, but it looks promising. I watched your latest video, and seems like some other users were right, the peds drive like crazy and hit each other for every damn time. Hope you sort out this thing. But still going to download this patch and enjoy the hell out of it!!!

I guess that's just a path exporter bug.

 

I didn't notice this myself honestly, I did see that blista driving there whilst recording but I didn't think it was a bug.
